The two weeks in England flew by. It was the best trip of my life. I experienced everything and I loved every second of it. I loved the sights and I love the food and obviously the company.
We flew back to Toronto last night and arrived this morning. Instead of going straight to the hut, Rooben told me go to straight up to his room while he went to speak to his father. I've been sitting in Roobens room for over an hour when he opens the door.
Rooben looks angry and I don't know what to do about it.
"Hey," I begin softly , " is everything okay... You lo-"
"What Elena?! I look fucking what?" Rooben snaps and I am who shocked that I stand from the bed a take a step back.
" I'm sorry I just thought..."
"Nothing! You thought nothing!!"
I walk towards the door holding back the tears, "I'm sorry." I whisper and I run down the stairs and back to the tiny home I've always known. How did such an amazing few weeks turn into this?
