━ For the first one, I haven't really seen that. People usually put their own birthdays or the date of the slot. I have seen many people try to be younger and pick years like 1997 or 1998 or 1999.
Applyfics need age diversity. STOP TRYING TO BE FREAKISHLY YOUNG. Being a 1992 or 1994 liner will not kill you. You ain't dying hun nor are you 60. Being 28 isn't a sin, and being the maknae isn't necessary.
Authors normally mention age limit, so keep that in mind as well.
━ U S E O T H E R F A C E C L A I M S I've seen so many people using very common face claims like Blackpink, IOI, Twice, and Red Velvet. (For girl group survival a.f's.) I assure there are more groups. If you don't know others, ya better go to Goggle. I promise you it doesn't only help with your homework.
I don't know how boy group survival applyfics work since I haven't made one. However BTS, EXO, Wanna One, Got7 aren't the only groups on the planet. (Remember Google ;D).
To make sure people know which face claims are taken, so they don't apply for one person. (This just drives an author insane.) Make a chapter on taken face claims. (If you are applying in a survival applyfic and it's pretty established. It is a really great idea to go to the face claims chapter to know who to pick.)
━ THIS. GETS. ON. MY. NERVES. If you apply for a survival applyfic (or any applyfic honestly) you better keep yourself applied in there until it's finished. Cause honey, us authors didn't just write your screentime just for you to disappear.
Being active is hella important in applyfics. YOUR TEAM NEEDS YOU DURING MISSIONS. It's disappointing to see you gone and all your other teammates working without you.
Me: I will literally eliminate you. Which is what I'm actually going to do on Desire. So...yep.
If you suddenly active during voting, I'm sorry but if you don't participate in group missions or missions in general. I would just drop points or eliminate them. Mission Activeness = A Proper Survival Applyfic
I think to prevent cheating, it's better to have certain number of votes instead of spam voting. One account can only vote a certain number of times. This can assure more fairness. Cheating is kinda hard to spot, if you find someone doing so, it's best to give that person a warning. If they continue, take them out if the a.f.
