Chapter 10: Scared

Lily's POV

It's been two years now since I came back home after being tortured by the Joker.

During those two years I've always been hearing voices and sometimes I can't help but feel a little bit insane. I'm 7 years old now Damian is now 10, Tim is  15 now, Dick is 22 and if Jason were here he would be 19.

Jason has been missing for a while now, no one talks about it and when I ask about him they say 'he's busy' and change the topic.

Today is my birthday Party, but I'm sad I miss my brother. I turn on the TV to watch some K- drama's
But it was on commercials something caught my attention I saw a little girl hugging her mom... I'm sad again and for some reason my heart hurts.

*knock*knock* I heard someone knocking my door,

I need to Fake a SMILE for THEM.

"Little mistress the party is all set and everyone is waiting downstairs." I nod

"I'll be there in a second, let me just get ready" he nodded and left closing the door behind him. I put on the dress daddy bought me.

When I put it on I walk down stairs, of course when Alfred said everyone he meant just my family excluding Jason. I finally was in front of my family and my daddy was the first to embrace me.

"Happy Birthday Princess" he whispered into my ear.

"Thank you Daddy" I whisper back

"Aww come on, you can't have her all to yourself Dad. We want to hug her too." Dick said. Dad let out a soft sigh and mumbled a quite fine before letting me go.

"Happy Birthday short stuff." Dick said before hugging me. I puffed my cheeks at the nickname he gave me.

"I'm not short your just to tall." I said and let go of the hug, he just chuckled at my comment but nodded Anyways.

"Happy Birthday Lily!!!" My brother Tim said before we did our ( Big brother + little sister secret ) handshake. 

"Happy Birthday Sunshine." My brother Damian said while bringing me into a hug.

"Is there still a hug for me princess?" I turned around to that voice I've missed for so long.

"JASON!!!" I run up and hug him.

"Happy Birthday" He said softly, I just smiled.

"Come on guys it's time to cut the cake!" Daddy said bringing a cake with seven candles on it.

"Make a wish little mistress." Alfred said.

I wish I had a mom...

Jason's POV
Lily kind of looked upset, I wonder what she wished for.

"Hey Lily come here for a second." She got away from the kitchen and came with me to the living room.

"Yes?" She asked

"Tell me what did you wish for" I ask her

"Are you sure you want to know?" I nod at her question

I quickly hug her

"It's okay Lily, you have us isn't that enough" she kept quiet and nodded... there's something off about her.

"What's wrong Lily?" I look at her beautiful eyes, they look so different from what I remember.

" Ever since the day I came back from that accident I'm always hearing voices inside my head. That's not all there's also times when I feel like I'm going crazy, as if my mind was going on a sugar rush." She explains

"Tell me Lily where exactly were you during that incident?" I just hope it's not where I'm thinking.

"I was with the Joker and Harley." My mind went blank... I can't let her be like those two psychopaths, I picked her up into my arms and ran upstairs into my room with Lily in my arms, and locked the door.

She'll be safe with me...

Tim's POV
I saw Jason take Lily upstairs in a hurry, but when I saw Lily's face she looked scared.

"Hey guys, I think something is wrong Jason took Lily upstairs but she looked terrified." I said and we all went to Jason's room and started knocking... no response

What the hell is going on!

"JASON OPEN THE DOOR IMMEDIATELY!!" Both Bruce and Dick were yelling, but no response. I felt a tug at my sleeve it was Damian.

"Doesn't Jason have a window in his room?" Weird.

"Yeah so? What good does that do us?" He took off running downstairs....oh!! I get it now.

"Come on guys he probably went out through the window!"

Damian's POV
I reached outside the window to Jason's room was open, I look around there gone...
