Elis POV

Elis...Elis a voice echoed in my ears "wake up" I slowly opened my eyes because the sun rays were not my friend that morning. I opened my eyes and saw Laura standing there with a worried expression on her face.

"Am fine L; don't worry" I said while trying to sit on the bed still being drowsy." Aah" word came out of my mouth when I felt pressure on my wrist.

"Fine, I can see how fine you are lis" she said while helping me to sit on the bed." Now seriously tell me are you okay?" She trailed off.

"Am fine"I said looking up at the world clock. "Shit am late" I said getting of the bed. "Late for what it's Saturday lis" she said her eyes following me in the direction am moving.

"I have to go and get the contract papers for the new project signed" I said hurrying in the bathroom. "You are not going to go I'll go instead you even look pale and tired"she said.

"You can't,L" I said from inside the bathroom." What do u mean by I can't lis?" I questioned. "I don't mean anything but you have to go to hospital;did you forget about it!" I replied putting on my clothes. A blue jeans with checks long sleeves top with buttons.

"No I did not forget but I can do it after mamas surgery" she replied. "No you might be late and you know that arrogant boss of ours!, don't you?" I said casually coming out of the bathroom doing my hair.

"Yeah but he is not that bad he'll understand and plus u look weak to go outdoors" she said pleadingly. "No, see babes first he not an understanding person as long as I know and secondly am fine enough just to go and get the papers signed" I said grabbing my bags moving outside my room.

"Ok then lis take care and if you by chance need me remember am just a call away" she said emphasizing on each word she spoke. "Ok mother but I should go now am already late bye"I said moving towards the door.

Bye and take care was the words I heard before moving outside the door. I got in the cab an headed towards the office. I entered the building and headed towards my cabin but noticed something strange.

"Holy piece of shit, what the hell is this?!"i murmured under my breath when I saw the cabin of Dylan's in a great mess. Was there a hurricane around some moments ago?!. The door of the cabin was slightly ajar so I made an effort to go and look at it.

I entered the danger zone but found no one around so I made an effort to tidy it up. It took me full 2 hours to do so because of all the papers lying around so I also sorted them up. Haaa a sigh left mouth when I was completely done with the mess. But the question is why did I tidy it up it was not my job! With that I left his cabin grabbed the file from my cabin and headed towards the exit.

Yes am very late now. But I don't know his residence. Crap, another issue."uhmm....ma'am where would you like to go" the driver spoke as I sat in the taxi. "Uum drive I'll tell you"I said and he nodded in response.then I remembered the card Mr Aaron Woodwards gave me and I gave it to the driver for the address.

I reached his rang the door bell and guess what was there. The devil himself wearing a dark blue jeans white shirt and a light brown coat. "You! what are you doing here?" He said most likely asked.

"Uhmm sorry to disturb yo-"I was cut off by him "get to the point". "Fine, I need you signature on these contract papers of the new project an-" again cut of by him "you are late!" He said about to close the door on my face when I immediately spoke " I know I am late sir and I apologize for that but please sign these papers i have to send it to th-". "NO" he said bluntly about to close the door when I placed my hand and guess which one? Yea right the sprained one in front trying to give the file when a bang was heard.
