I'm a small weed
Under the huge ocean
Does anybody see me?
I'm a grain of sand
In the pregnant belly
Of the mighty sea,
Does anyone care?
I'm a man
With a mouth and a nose
Broad shoulders and a beard
I've got large feet and ten toes
Do you know me?
Beyond the obvious oblivion--
I the weed,
I the sand,
I the man,
Own this olden world
With all its dust
And all its gold
