England, 1940

Lea decided that she wanted to live in the forest from then on. She could make her own shelter, hunt her own food, and most importantly there was no grumpy old lady who likes to give her chores. But, she had to gave that dream up since The Macready would just scream at her like a banshee, drag her out of the forest and give her extra chores.

As she was laying herself on the forest ground with her eyes closed and humming an old Narnian song, she couldn't help but to feel peaceful. Something that had rarely happened before during her stay on earth. That peace didn't last as long as she wanted it, however. As a familiar voice called out her name and the sound of footsteps were getting near, she opened her eyes, knowing she had to go back to the manor if she didn't want any more chores than she had done today.

"Sorry to ruin your peace," Lucas leaned to a big oak tree, "but, I'm quite sure The Macready is coming back soon. You wouldn't want to make her angry by not being at the manor when she comes back, right?"

Lea rolled her eyes. "If I wanted to make her angry, I would've destroyed her tea cup collections." She stood up and walked towards her brother. "Besides, according to the prophecy it's today, right? Our kings and queens are coming."

Lucas hummed softly. "What do you think they would be?" He asked, walking alongside his sister. "Besides being the Kings and Queens of Narnia, I wonder how they act on the day to day basis."

Lea pondered a bit and answered, "Well, as long as neither of them are a pain in the ass, I'm sure I can get behind the idea of them ruling over Narnia. Besides that," Lea looked at him, "How are you okay with these children, that we don't know, ruling over Narnia?"

"Because their the children in Aslan's prophecy, obviously," he chuckled. "What's there to doubt?"

"A lot, if you hadn't realized yet." Lea turned, facing her brother. "They don't exactly have the experience about ruling a country. Moreover, if what The Macready said was true, they are here to avoid a war, right? And here we are, ready to bring them to the frontlines of a different war!"

He opened his mouth but closed it again as he didn't find any compelling argument. His brows scrunched together as he thought hard about what to say and counter her words. Lea knew that her little brother held Aslan in the highest respect and he never doubt any of his words. But this was too much. Lea knew that it is important to trust her team, her captain, her superior who knows a lot more than her.'But how can I not doubt him when Narnia as well as these children's lives are at stake?!'

"See? You can't even find anything to say against it," Lea sharply stated. "Let's just go back to the manor," she sighed. "Don't worry, just because I doubt Aslan's word, doesn't mean I'll neglect my job. But when I see Aslan again I'm going to give him a piece of my mind."

Lea was pretty sure that falling down the stairs wasn't the best way to greet the Pevensie children. Well, she blamed her non-existent luck as well as her clumsiness. As she and Lucas were coming down the stairs, she suddenly lost her balance and fell down to the floor with her brother. As if that wasn't embarrassing enough, they fell right in front of The Macready and the Pevensies. 'Wow Eleanor, She thought, your ability to make a fool out of yourself is really amazing.'

"What are you children doing?!" The Macready's face was red, from a mix of anger and embarrassment. An expression she usually had whenever Lea or Lucas was around her. While, the Pevensies wore a surprised expression looking at the duo that fell in front of them.
