"Gas-tro-vas-cu-lar," Susan spelled. "Gastrovascular."

Because of the rain outside, the six children were stuck inside the manor with nothing to do. Well, not nothing exactly. Susan had came up with a game of guessing the meaning of Latin words. Lea didn't know, she was already content with slouching on one of the long couches inside the lounge room.

It seemed that neither of them were participating in the game, obviously besides Susan. Peter had his eyes half-closed beside her, Lucy was sitting beside the window looking at droplets of rain, Lucas was trying to keep his eyes wide open as to not fall asleep, Edmund...Where is he? Lea could've swore he was with them a few moments ago.

"Peter, come on," Susan urged.

Peter rolled his eyes. "Is it Latin?"

"Yes!"

"Is it Latin for 'worst game ever invented'?" Edmund interrupted. Hearing his voice that seemed to be coming from below her, Lea immediately looked under the couch she was laying upon. As she guessed it, she found Edmund below the couch she was on there on the floor. He quickly turned his back on her when he realized Lea was looking at him. 'Why is he there?'

"Do you really need to be under the couch?" Lucas questioned him, which Edmund answered by scoffing loudly and staying under the couch. Lucas looked at the other three Pevensie with an 'Is he serious?' expression on his face. Peter replied with a tired expression etched on his face and a shrug.

"What do you suggest we do, then?" Susan slammed the book on her lap harshly, realizing none of the others were interested in playing the game she made.

Lucy's ear perked up at this as she looked away from the window. "We could play hide-n-seek," She suggested.

"But that's a kid's game!" Edmund protested.

"Do you want to play or not?" Lea grumbled. "That's the only thing that matters, really."

"Aw, come on, Peter, please," Lucy begged him as she showed her best puppy eyes expression in an attempt to persuade him.

Peter huffed and smiled at her, "Fine. I'm counting then. Prepare to lose everyone."

"Lose?" Susan laughed. "In your dreams, Pete'!"

As Peter started counting the other five dashed out of the room, finding their own hiding place around the manor. They had completely forgotten The Macready's rule about no running inside the house. But she wasn't in the house at the time, so why not have a little freedom? The professor wouldn't mind some noises, anyway.

Lea turned into a corridor where she saw Edmund shoving Lucy away rather harshly from behind the curtains, yelling he found the place first. While Lucy only clicked her tongue and ran the other direction to find another place to hide, it wasn't the same thing with Lea.

She walked towards the curtains Edmund was hiding behind. "Hey! Get out here before I punch you!"

Edmund popped his head behind the curtains, "What are you doing? You're going to make us get caught!"

Lea frowned, "I don't care! You're clearly much bigger than Lucy! Was it really necessary for you to shove her out harshly like that?! Besides you could've find another hiding space!" She couldn't believe him. Sure, sometimes siblings like to act harshly towards each other, she would know as she and Lucas would often get into fist fights. But those fights were for fun, Edmund was just behaving harshly for the sake of it. That was enough to made Lea prepare her entire being to teach him a lesson.
