MACKENZIE'S POV
I leave Maisie to sleep until I know mum has for sure left for work. Panicking is the absolute last thing she is going to need after yesterdays unpleasant events.
My stomach growls in hunger as I lay on my couch surrounded by cushions for mum to hurry up and leave already. I will actually have a full blown hissy fit or whatever you want to call it if I find out she's called into work 'sick'. I bet her boss won't be all that impressed when he finds out why one of his top workers is actually taking a day off of work. She'll be left saying ciao adios to her job that's for sure.
I'm getting really desperate to pass the time and am really craving a shower but I can't risk anything happening to my sister while I shower. So there goes that idea I guess.
Over the last couple of years I've picked up that mum won't be violent if she thinks the rest if the household is asleep. So for Maisie's and my own sake, I keep extremely quiet. So quiet, you could hear a pin drop onto the carpet, literally.
I choose the smart idea of using my phone I got for Christmas as my entertainment for the morning. I send my morning streaks and check my friends' Snapchat stories first because that tends to kill a little time. I play Paper.io 2 for a bit, using the game as a way to quietly take my anger out on yesterdays events.
I'm not quite sure how long that lasted for until the next thing I knew I was on the app store waiting for Wattpad to download. I mean if Maisie manages to kill a heap of time on Wattpad, why wouldn't I be able to? I don't see why the same wouldn't apply to me also.

The front door clicks shut as I check the time.
"Well damn, this really does kill time," I say to myself, careful not to wake up Maisie just yet.
Mums car pulls away before I even begin to consider waking Maisie yet. Well nevermind, I think to myself as I hear a grunt from the bed. I glance up in that direction and see that she's starting to wake up now on her own accord.
This instantly sends my mind into thinking like a normal human being mode, my stomach growling does also. Food. What was I able to eat when I first got my tongue done? Hmm.
"Yoghurt!" I come out with to no one in particular, Maisie looks at me with a face of confusion to my sudden outburst.
"Your tongue piercing you weirdo, you're having yoghurt for breakfast whether you like it or not," I state. She then begins to type away furiously at her phone before my own phone dings.
Maisie: "Ohhh yeah. I kinda forgot about that after yesterday," her message to me reads.
"I figured," I reply. She just smiles innocently at me.
I pull myself up off my couch to go and make breakfast for Maisie and I. Honestly, yoghurt actually sounds really appetizing right now so I think I'm just going to grab the whole tub and two spoons. Yep, that is my plan, and no I don't give two flying firetrucks what you think about it. Not even a single one.
I lock my door as a precaution, notifying my sister beforehand of course so she doesn't freak out.
Because I'm not a stupid as people take me for, I make sure to have my phone on me and hidden in case Maisie needs something or mum strikes again. Trust me she could strike at any minute for all I know, it's what makes her so damn unpredictable.
It leaves me thinking that that is probably, no most likely where my siblings and I get it from. Yeah, sounds about right. My father? Well, no one really knows all that much about him if I'm honest so. He kind of disappeared when he found out mum was pregnant with three of us. Maisie and Madalyn both hope that he burns in hell. Me? Well I don't even know anymore, mum says he was a good man. Ha ha, was a good man, until he went off to god only knows where.
My sisters have very strong opinions on the man that we're meant to call our father. Very strong opinions. But oh well, it is what it is I guess. Personally I believe that they shouldn't judge him because they haven't met him. Although he did leave after he found out that mum was having triplets so they technically do have a valid reason to dislike him.
I get the tub of strawberry yoghurt from the fridge and two spoons from the cutlery draw and go back on my way to my room again.
I enter my room to see my sister rocking back and forth on the bed in a trance. I take my place next to her and wave the tub in her face to gain her attention.
"Oh, thanks. What are you having?" Maisie answers.
"We're both having yoghurt," I shrug.
"Mum will flip even more if she finds out that it's gone though," Maisie says, scared.
"Well she can suck a twelve inch dick and we're going to the shops to get you some food, we'll replace the yoghurt then," I answer. Man, I have a solution to everything right now.
"Are we getting the party supplies too?" She questions.
"Yes Maisie, we are getting everything we need okay," I answer. Damn, I really do have an answer for everything right now. Freaky.
"But first, you my dear sister are bathing. I don't care whether it be in my shower or bath, you are getting yourself clean again," just casually dropping hints to her that she smells in a not so offensive way.
"Yes boss," Maisie laughs, saluting at me.
"Just find something in my closet, I don't really care what," I add, directing at my walk in closet.
My sister just nods at me as she heads over to my closet.
She soon comes out with some clothes and goes into my bathroom to clean up. Me? Well now I go get some clothes for the day. I decide on a dark navy t-shirt with a pocket on the front and my favourite pair of black, ripped skinny jeans. I'll decide on the shoes when it gets closer to time to leave.
I close my closet door, still inside so I can get changed just in case of any unexpected audiences. I really wouldn't appreciate one this morning to be one hundred percent honest. I change out of my sleepwear and into my chosen outfit for the day.
I come out, throw my sleeping clothes into my hamper and get started on my makeup. I go for my regular mostly natural look which consists on moisturizer, foundation, concealer, brown eye shadow, nude lipstick, light highlighter and mascara.
As I put my final layer of mascara on my eyelashes the water in the shower gets cut off. Soon enough my sister is standing in the bathroom doorway in a similar outfit to my own, she is barefaced also still. I give myself a quick once over in the floor to ceiling mirror I have hung up behind the door, while Maisie debates whether or not she should put on makeup.
While Maisie sorts herself out for the day, I get onto sorting out my hair. Being the simple person I am, I stick with a simple, but sleek high ponytail. Of course it wasn't as perfect as I would have liked, but it's nothing the hair straightener and a couple sprays of hairspray can't fix. So as Maisie says a little too much, she be right.
Maisie sits patiently on my bed waiting to leave. I collect the rest of my necessary belongings for the day and put them into my favourite black leather handbag.
It's verging on ten o'clock when we finally lock the front door behind us and climb into my beautiful baby. I love my Lamborghini okay? A few have said that my relationship with my car is verging on dangerous. Okay, maybe more than a few people have. But don't I care what people think about me? Hell to the no I don't, and I'm hoping to keep it that way.
