Grinch X Reader 2 (The who and the blue bleeding heart)

Chapter 1 (Im your host)

The grinch and you had just got back from a failed attempt to sell the box. While the grinch wasn't around you cut your finger on the box, spilling blood on it. This lead to the box opening. Afterwards you found somewhere to hide, and take a peek inside.

"What the hell!?" You didn't know why but something about this.. heart if you could call it one, it was pleasing to look at. You felt as if you had to keep it safe, but at the same time you were terrified. One of the vessels on it suddenly reached up and held onto your wrist like a tentacle! Screaming you dropped the box as the heart clung to you. You tried to shake it off of your hand, as it wrapped around your arm.

The heart started beating faster as if it was in distresse. Gasping for breath you calmed down it seemed to mimic your emotions, and as you relaxed so did the heart. It wasn't harming you in anyway, it was simply just creepy. "Y/N!!" The grinch was calling for you. You looked down at the thing around your arm and the open box.

Oh no.. quickly you searched for a place to hide the box, then you gently tried to pick up the beating muscle clinging to you. "Eww.. this is so gross!" You whispered to yourself, not wanting to touch the thing. As your free hand got near the heart it crawled up your arm away from your hand. "Oh c'mon.. where am I going to hide you if I don't even have pockets!" You heard the grinch call for you again. "Y/N!!" He was getting closer.

Frantic you reached up to try and grab the heart, but it crawled up to your face making you scream! You finally grabbed it and tried pulling it off but it was stuck, as it held onto you. Now you understood why the grinch didn't want you to open that box, this thing was alien and probably wanted to take control of you. "G..GRIINCH HEELP!!" You cried as you fell out of the cupboard wrestling with the blue thing on you.

Grinch ran in the door, reaching his hands down to help you. One of the veins on the heart spat out a dark blue substance at him. He jumped back as the blood on him burned as if he picked up the hottest pepper in the world. He froze paralyzed, "I can't help you! Shhss ahh it stings!" He sat back against the wall, unable move. You were crying as this thing tried to pry its way into your mouth.

You ended up passing out, everything went black. Breathing, all you could hear was your own breathing. There was nothing but a black empty void around you. Though the bottom was a flat smooth material, as you looked down you could see your own reflection. Below your reflection were millions of bright beautiful stars and galaxies. You tried to speak, but no sound came out. Despite the beauty of this place you felt a terrible unease about it. "Hhh.." you heard something below you. This thing was there, below you but it a reflection too. A reflection with no owner.

You were terrified as it's pale face starred coldly back up at you. It's mouth and eye sockets dripped with black ooz that seemed to seep upward out of the floor. The thing resembled something of a satyr and a demon. With its two goat like horns and hoofed feet, its body covered in black fur and half rotted as it was a corpse. It's tattered wings spread slightly as it garbled in an odd tongue.

"Hvem er meg.. Hækkađi!" It said, you took a few steps back and ran into something. Two clawed hands grabbed your shoulders turning you to the very same creature in the reflection. It stood there in front of you, "dnif .. obdy min!" Screaming awake as ice water was poured on you. The grinch had you in the bathtub, he grabbed a flashlight and held your chin. Shining it in your eyes, "are you alright. Do you feel anything, pain, irritation.." he examined your face, as you were still in a bit of a daze. "You feel like something is going to emerge and burst out of your chest!?"

He took his fingers and opened your mouth looking down your throat. You came too a bit more and pushed him away. "What.. no I'm fine, I feel fine.." you tried to stand up. "N..now now, don't stand up just yet!" Grinch said putting his hands up trying to prevent you from moving further. Confusion crossed your mind as you couldn't quite recall what happened a few moments ago. You also couldn't understand why the grinch of all people was acting so.. concerned for you.

Trying to climb out of the tub you pushed him away once more from getting you to sit back down. "Grinch I feel fine.. what's going on?" He looked at you with fear in his eyes, "it's inside you.." you looked at him. "What?" Grinch grabbed a towel and wrapped it around you, the fur on his arms and hands had been stained blue. "That heart from the box! It chose you as its host, and now it's inside your body! Why.. why did you disobey me.."

You backed up as the grinch came closer, "Why did you do it after I told you to never touch that filthy box, NOW IT'S IN YOU!! And the worst part about it is that it's master will be after you!! YOU UNDISERVING LITTLE..." The grinch raised his hand ready to smack you with the back of it. But his rage quickly drained after seeing your shaking form in front of him. You felt something gently wrap around you. "I'm so sorry.. I'm sorry for putting you through this.."

The grinch picked you up with his arms around you, and set you on his bed. He sat next to you and sighed. You looked out the window, the cool blue sky outside said that it was night. "C..can I go outside please.. I'll stay on the balcony I promise." Grinch gave you a look, but then gave you a sign of approval.

Sliding off the bed you walked up to the window, going out onto the small balcony. You could see the beautiful forest behind the mountain. The air was fresh and sweet, as the cool night breeze brushed through your fur. It was cold, but you didn't care.. your mind was clouded with thoughts, some more unpleasant than others. But one stuck out like a thorn. The faint memory of that thing you saw when you were out.

"The stars sure are brilliant tonight aren't they.." grinch came up and leaned over the balcony next to you. Reaching over he rubbed your back comforting you. You didn't know why but, you stepped closer and leaned into him. "Grinch.. is there a way to get this thing out of me?.." you shivered feeling an odd sensation in your chest, as that.. heart attached and merged itself to your insides.

It wasn't painful, it actually felt good. You felt as if you were gaining more energy, and some how you could breathe better than usual. "I..I'm sorry I'm afraid I don't know how to get that thing out of you, without killing you.." You gulped as his words slid through your ears. "W..who is the owner of this.. heart..?"

You were hesitant to ask, but you felt the grinch must know. Since he seemed to know everything about this situation. He took a long deep sigh, then walked back into the bedroom. "I think.. it's time I've told you a little bit about my past.." His voice was somber as he patted a spot on the bed. Hesitant you walked over and sat next to him, waiting for him to speak.

Guys.. that first chapter worries me a bit.. I hope none of you will loose interest in this book after that.. but anyway that's just my paranoia getting to me. I'm actually proud to announce that I have found the old first book, though it's not in my published books it is still in my reading list! And turns out another follower was able to access it as well, to read anyway. But that being said gives me so much relief!!

Well off to the second chapter shall we!!
