Green Base, England: 1:00 pm

Folding his clothes, tom neatly placed them into his black bag. He looked up as his door whirred open. "Tom, what are you doing? Zara told me you were looking for us." Edd spoke, matt joining his side. "I'm leaving." He Turner to the vanity desk and peered at the replica bass. He almost hissed in disapproval. Matt and Edd shared confused, shocked looks. Tom stood up regaining his balance, walking over to the draw and pulling it open. "Tom, are you crazy? You're practically a criminal! Half of Europe classes you as a criminal for working with red leader! You're staying." Edd scowled, crossing his arms in defiance, matt nodding his head in agreement. "You should listen to Edd this time, tom." Matt simply added. "No- you don't understand, I need to go! I just need to borrow one of your aircrafts and I promise to bring it back-" "No, tom." Edd cut him off. Tom stopped himself from speaking, catching himself on his own words. "Edd, you don't make MY decisions for me-" "Thomas!" Edd raises his voice. Tom cut his sentence off. Edd almost never raised his voice; let alone call him by his full name. "We've almost lost you countless times to your ignorance. This ONE time I ask you to follow my orders, can you just do it? We can't lose you. I can't lose you." Edd spoke, his voice just above his inside voice. Tom was stuck, unable to move. He saw how Edd was trying to keep his emotions out of this, but it wasn't really working. Toms eyes stung under his set. Edd was right but he didn't understand. "Okay." Toms voice broke, but it was the least of his worries. He turned to

"We really do have the upper hand, thanks to you, Amanda." A deep accented voice hummed. Amanda smirked, watching the large screen printed in front of her eyes. "I know. It wasn't easy getting myself into the clear in Red Base, but it was worth it." She complimented herself. The taller male turned to the screen, flicking his finger, the screen snapping black and the lights turning on to replace the light. "Keep an eye on Tord, will you? Thomas is coming." The man ordered rather than asking. "Why don't we just kill him? The press of a button and his brain will explode!" Amanda argued. "I'm the leader, not you, Amanda! Any funny business and you'll end up like Red Leader." He sneered. "Yes, sir." She huffed, turning to the sliding door and leaving, her heels clicking quieting the further she distanced. He turned the screen back on, looking through the eyes tom saw through. He was sat at a desk, head in his hands. "Don't worry Thomas, you'll be home soon. No games." He smiled faintly.

Green Base, England: 9:00 pm

Toms body was cold as ice, laying on his bed, pillows supporting his head. He stared at the ceiling above him, watching the ceiling fan spin continuously. He felt sick to his stomach from how much it reminded him of how he lived his life before. Drinking, forced to see a doctor every day, fight with Edd, scare matt and then sleep. Rolling his limp body to the side, his eyes glowed green over the picture in his hand. Tord. He was still unsure why he wanted to see him so much. Hate? Vengeance? Regret? He wasn't sure; bang! Thomas shot up from the bed, sitting as still as a statue. Another bang erupted his ears. Tom ran to the window, peering out. A rock hit the window, making tom jump back. Slumping back over to the window, tom looked down to see two figures. "Carlos?? Joseph!" Tom wrapped his hands around the window slider but it was locked. Quickly shooting his eyes around the room, his eyes became locked onto the sickly copied Susan. "Sorry Edd, I don't know what you expected." Tom sighed softly, firmly taking the base in his hand and getting it ready like a bat in his soft hands. Swinging the bass with all his back strength, the window smashed open. Tom dropped the broken bass, turning to the window again. Looking down, he noticed the difference of how high he was up. If he climbed out, he'd probably brake a bone in the process. Tom dangled his leg out of the window, catching his weight and climbing on the edge, closer to the side fence. Locking his fingers into the gaps of the metal fence, tom climbed down, jumping off, catching his balance. "Tom! You really are here!" Joseph cheered, running over to the Brit and squeezing him happily. Carlos chuckled, joining the reunion. "You guys are alive! I though you both died. I blamed myself, and- I-" "tom, it's okay." Carlos cut him off. "We're here to get you out of here. We managed to get out half of the base from the attack." Carlos smiled. "I don't deserve to lead them. To lead anyone. I can't even kill anyone! I can't make my own choices without being controlled." Tom slandered. "Tom... you are a great leader! Every soldier who fought for you did it because they know you're worth it. You're not like red leader, you lead people with pride and greatness. He leads with fear." Carlos retorted, Joseph nodding in agreement. Tom smiled, tears falling from under his headset. "Now let's get you back to Yellow Base. Kaylie and the rest are all there. We parked the jet outside the base." Joseph tightened his shirt collar, swinging around on his feet. Tom swallowed hard. "Sure."

The three sneaked through the shadows of the base, sure to not be seen. Tom led to two, up to the edge of the gates where the vehicles and aircrafts were let out. Sprinting to the other side, the brit hollered the two over and they climbed into one of the jets. It was edds and matts. "Don't regret this, tom" he spoke to himself, twisting the keys into position, making the engine fire on. A voice erupted the speakers. "We have aircraft eight seven six starting without permit! Identify yourself." A female voice growled. "I'm sorry! Tell Edd I'll make it up to him!" Tom answered, hitting his hand on the jets speakers, breaking it causing a fuzzing noise. Carlos and Joseph squeezed into the one seater next to tom. Slamming his foot onto the pedal, tom got the craft moving fast, quickly taking air.

I'll be there soon, Tord.
