"Gosh, this is frustrating." She said, ruffling her hair in process.

Taehyung chuckled, putting down the pencil that he used to write some side notes for her.

"Slowly, bae. Don't overwork yourself." He said.

Joohyun let out a sigh, before placing the side of her head on the table, closing her eyes.

Taehyung closed all the books, arranging it to the side. "Come on, let's sleep. It is 12 a.m already."

Hearing the word 'sleep', she immediately stood up, before throwing herself on Taehyung's bed.

"Sleep tight." She murmured lazily. At least they have washed up before studying, so it is not really a big deal if she wants to sleep right away.

Taehyung once again chuckled at her childish behaviour. After a few sleepover sessions, he knew that her childishness will come out when she is sleepy.

He walked to her. Taking the comforter, he placed it on her body carefully. She seems familiar with the warmth, as she shifted underneath the comforter to have a better position.

He turned off the lamp on the nightstand, before walking to the couch.

But before he could walk further, she suddenly spoke up, making him jumped slightly on his spot.

"Hey, sleep beside me. I want to sleep with you." She said in the darkness.

If only she knows how much the words affected him.

He turned around, looking at her innocent face. "Fine."

He placed himself beside her, facing her back. He didn't expect it, but she turned around to face him, eyes closed.

He breathed deeply, heartbeats increased every second. It is not really their first time sleeping side by side, but they're too close right now.

"Bae, when will you answer my question? I need it soon, or else I'll really go insane." He muttered slowly, gaze fixed on her.

"No, you don't have to stop your feeling." She suddenly said, eyes still closed.

He flinched, staring at her to make sure that she is not sleep talking. "Are you talking to me just now?"

"I'm answering your question, tae. You don't have to stop your feeling, because I also feel the same." She repeated.

Opening her eyes, now they're staring deeply into each other eyes, even though the room is dark.

"I love you." She muttered, hand gripping the comforter, as if it can encourage her.

His body stiffened as his heart skipped a beat. The butterflies rushed in his stomach, and the shivers sent through his spine.

"Did you just confessed to me?" He asked in disbelief. "I mean, you love me too?"

"Do you want me to take it back?" She asked savagely, trying to cover her embarrassment.

"No, please." Taehyung pleaded.

He then sneaked his arms around her waist, pulling her closer to him. He pressed his lips on her hairline, before staring down at her.

The darkness surrounded them, but they can still see the sparks between them. And the light from outside is enough for them to see each other.

His eyes landed on her lips, as he licked his own nervously. "Can I kiss you?"

Her face flushed red at the request. She nodded slowly, heart thumping louder.

He leaned in, before capturing her lips with him, one of his hand cupped her face to deepen the kiss.

He pulled away for a moment, forehead resting against hers. Their breaths hit each other faces.

"I've been waiting for this so godamn long." He murmured, before claiming her lips once again.
