Joohyun's lips slightly parted, her hands trembling. She blinked her eyes twice before gulping.

Why don't I know anything about this?

She screen off her phone, before standing up, determined to go home. She needs to know the whole story.

"H-hey, where are you going?" Taehyung snatched her arm, asking in concern.

She turned to him, eyes full with tears. "I need to deal with something." She said, almost whispering.

"Let me follow you." He suggested.

She looked at his eyes, making eye contact. She saw that determine look in it, and she unsurely nodded her head.

-

"You wait here. If I didn't come out, just go home and don't wait for me." She said.

Before Taehyung could react, she already ran inside, and he swore, he is worried so godamn much.

Joohyun got inside the home, only to be greeted with Jinyoung who is pouring a full glass of wine, finishing his six bottles.

She shuddered at the sight. But her mind just focusing on her main point. "Where is the contract?"

He scoffed, sipping on the wine. "Why did you acting all furious when you already own all of that freaking company?!" He yelled, before throwing the glass on the floor, making it broke.

A piece of glass stuck at her right foot, and she hissed in pain, but she doesn't care about herself anymore.

"I don't even want it! Why do you make it like it is my fault? I've nothing to begin with! I don't know anything about this shit that make you go insane!" She exclaimed, tears flowing out.

She never show her tears in front of Jinyoung. She never show her fear and sadness in front of him, but this time, she just wants to let everything out.

He gritted his teeth, before slapping her, hard. He grabbed a fistful of her hair, before throwing her aside.

The devil took over him, as he took an empty wine bottle, lifting it up.

-

Taehyung flinched when he heard the glass sound, at the same time with a man's angry voice.

He tried to peek to see what happened in her house, but of course he can't see anything.

He finally heard her shaking voice, and that's when he lost it.

Taehyung climbed up the gate, before running to the main door. Shaking it for a while, he searched around for any hard material.

He saw a red fire extinguisher hanging on the wall. Taking it, he hit the glass door with it, causing the door to break into a thousand pieces.

He slipped through it, not worrying if his legs step on the glasses or not.

He gasped at the violence sight. An older male lifting up the wine glass bottle right above Joohyun, while she is sitting there helplessly, covering her head with her arms.

Without thinking twice, he ran to her, hugging her tightly as he protected her head with his chest and arms.

And it just happened.

The bottle hit the back of his head, and it almost made him lost conscious in just a second, but he held it inside.

Joohyun's eyes now wide opened, staring at him in fear. Taehyung cupped her face, eyes travel everywhere, before checking her body if she has any serious injury.

He does it when all he needs to worry is himself.

"T-taehyung— w-wait— what—" She stuttered, hands went to his head, only to have her hand covered with his fresh blood.

"You're bleeding—" She said, cupping his head with her small hand once again.

She wants to stop the bleeding, but she doesn't know how, especially that she is in this state. Panic and miserable.

His head fell on her embrace, in her arms. He is having a trouble to keep his conscious, as long as his breathing.

The last thing that he could process before he fell the pain struck his head was her tears dropping on his cheek and her hand holding his tightly.
