Loving the Enemy

Hogwarts Express

     "The train is going to leave soon; now hurry up Harry. We don't want you to be late!" Lily grins kindly.
     "Okay mom, give me a second I gotta say goodbye to Padfoot." Harry replies back while scanning the crowd for his uncle. While searching for Sirius, Ron runs behind Harry and wraps his arms around him in a big welcoming hug.
     "I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN LIKE THREE DAYS! I'VE MISSED YOU HARRY!" Ron says while grinning like a mad man.
     Hermione rolls her eyes and greets Harry, "Ronald, stop acting like a child. Hello Harry, how's your day?"
    "Fine actually, just can't find Padfoot anywhere. Well we best be going since the train is going to leave soon." Lily smiles at her son and kisses him goodbye, James tightly wraps his arms around Harry and gives him a warm embrace, Moony hugs him goodbye with a knowing gleam in is eye. The trio begin to board the train but as Harry climbs the first step he hears Sirius' voice. He turns to see him launching himself towards the train.
    "Harry. I have something to give you, now that you're a fourth year, we have decided to give you the invisibility cloak and the Marauders Map. I'm sure you know how to use them both. Now go the train leaves in a minute." Sirius says out of breath. Harry leaps down and gives Sirius a quick hug and boards the train once again. He, Hermione, and Ron find a compartment and sit down.
     "Mate, what did Sirius give you?" Ron asks.
     "The Marauders Map and my dads invisibility cloak!" Harry explains excitedly. He pulls out the cloak and drapes it over himself. Both Ron and Hermione gape and gasp in shock. Harry takes is off and neatly folds it back. He then places it into his trunk, seconds before Malfoy bursts into the compartment. Harry looks up at the Slytherin. When did Malfoy get so hot? Wait! Did I just think DRACO MALFOY looked hot?!? No! I couldn't have... but look at his silvery blue eyes, they're gorg- WAIT! Was I about to say that his eyes were gorgeous.
      "POTTER! Are you just going to stare at me all day? I know I'm absolutely stunning but I have places to be."
     "What do you want Malfoy?" Ron says, almost aggressively from beside Harry. While Hermione looks at Harry confused, but her wheels are turning.
     "Well I just heard a little rumor that Harry's 'Marauder' uncles gave him a little gift and I wanted to see it for myself."
     "Bugger off Malfoy." And with that Draco was gone, he slammed the door shut and left. A minute or two later Ginny, Hunter, and Luna joined them in their compartment.
     "Hey Hunt. Where were you this morning?" Harry asks suspiciously.
     "Oh... nowhere in particular... I was just at the Weasleys."
     "No you weren't." Ron states nonchalantly. Harry raises his eyebrow at his sister.
     She gives in and says, "FINE, I was at my girlfriends house. Happy?"
     "That's better, but I don't want you two, ya know. Cause I am your older brother, I need to protect you."
     "First of all ew. Secondly I don't need you to protect me."
     "Whatever you say Princess Evans." Harry says with a smirk. Hunter never really liked the surname of Potter so she decided to go by Evans instead. Hunter smiles sarcastically and punches him in the arm.
     "OWW!" Hunter sits down next to her brother, while Ginny and Luna sit across from them. Both Ginny and Luna seem very giggly, and excited, but nobody asks.
      Hunter leans in and whispers into Harry's ear, "I think they're dating and stuff. Don't you think so?" 
     Harry looks up at the two and responds, "I never really noticed until now."
     Hunter shakes her head, "Your gaydar not working?" The two laugh and continue the conversations with their friends.

~Magic Time Skip~

    The trains stops abruptly and they are finally at Hogwarts. Luna and Ginny grab their trunks and head off the train, followed by Hunter.
The Golden Trio are about to leave as Hermione says, "Harry could I talk to you really quickly?"
"Sure 'mione, but don't you think it could wait a minute?"
"It's just a simple question"
"Okay..." Ron leaves, trunk in hand, eyeing the two suspiciously.
Once Ron is out of sight Hermione says, "You have a crush on Malfoy." Harry's eyes widen and he is left speechless.
"Wha-no-thats impossible. no- no- I'm not in love with Draco Lucius Malfoy- no- no- not at all. No I can't be. Can I?" Harry sputters. Hermione just laughs at him and winks. She grabs her trunk and leaves the compartment and a speechless Harry.
-Draco Pov-
Draco takes a leisurely stroll through the train before exiting just to think about everything.   As he is strolling he hears Grangers voice, and then Weasley leaving the compartment. Shouldn't the entire Golden Trio have already left the train. Strange to stay back, maybe Granger is cheating on the Weasel with Potter. I mean I wouldn't blame her, Potter has those beautiful emerald green eyes that I get lost in. WAIT A SECOND. WHAT WAS THAT? I can't think like that. I'll be killed on the spot. No!
"You have a crush on Draco Malfoy." Draco's ears focus once again on the conversation. Draco's jaw drops and he can no longer comprehend any word. He does have the right of mind to start walking away though, since they may be coming out of the compartment any second. But the last thing he catches before he gets it the train was, "Wha-no-thats impossible. no- no- I'm not in love with Draco Lucius Malfoy- no- no- not at all. No I can't be. Can I?"
How does he know my entire name? Only my family and close friends know that. Harry James Potter has a tiny crush, ON ME! THE SLYTHERIN PRINCE!

-Harry's Pov-
Harry grabs his trunk and gets off the train, meeting up with Ron and Hermione on a carriage. Ron leans over to his friend and asks, "Mate, what happened? You two aren't... like.. you know?"
"Oh. no. No. No. That's weird. Hermione's like my sister. I would never."
"Oh okay. Good. Okay"
"Why? Do you have a crush on Hermione?"
"NO! WHY WOULD YOU THINK THAT? DON'T BE PREPOSTEROUS!"
"Okayyy... whatever you say..." The carriages jolt to a stop outside the castle. The trio hops off the carriage and walks into the great hall. As Harry walks in he notices Malfoy staring at him. He can't possibly know? Can he? Oh no. Harry grimaces at Malfoy and Malfoy does the same back.
