We drove home and I saw Benny on the couch and dad standing in the front of the room.

"What's going on?" I asked as I sat down on the couch.

"We need to tell you something..." mom says looking at dad.

"We're moving!" They say in unison, "far away in the country! We're right next to a family with a boy your age Benny and another son your age Jenny!"

I had no response. Living in the country. I am a pure heart city girl! My life was over! How could the do this to me! But, I have no say!

"When will we leave?" Benny said excitedly!

"2 days!" Dad says

"I've got to go! I'll be back later." I said storming out the front door. I got in my car and called Kayla.

"Hey we need to talk meet me at the mall in ten!...good!...tell Caroline!"

We all met at the mall. We went shopping for a while talking about how unfair of a transition this was for me. But talking about it didn't change anything.

~Two Days Later~

"Bye guys! It's only 30 miles from the mall so we will hang out!" I said in tears.

"Totally! We will miss you!" Kayla and Caroline went on. We hugged and off we went down the way to our new house in the country.
