I woke up the next day to the sound of my buzzing iPhone.
"💕Wren💕" it read.
"Let me start this conversation off with, its 5:30 in the freakin morning. This better be important!" I flirted, but got my point across.
"Get dressed were leaving in 30 minutes."
"What?"
"Hurry up!"
"Only thir-"
"Shut up and come on." He cut my sentence off.
I put on a pink tank top, a white skirt, a white sweater, and a pair of dark brown leather boots.
I walked out of the door to an old, rusted red truck with Wren smiling and laughing.
"What!?" I asked as he laughed.
"Over dress much?" he asked.
"I don't know what we're doing so, tell me now before I feel the need to beat the crap out of you." I said.
"Get in the truck!" he laughed.
I opened the door and plopped into my seat and put on my seatbelt.
There was a moment of silence.
"Wren?" I began, "what are we doing! I need to know."
"Well I think you'll like it, but I can't tell you." He smiled as he drove off.
I pulled out my phone to text my mom saying I was gone and I loved her.
"Whatever." I said, "but if I get dirty it's your fault!"
"I can accept that."

We stopped in the middle of the gravel slightly pulled to the side allowing our parents to leave without a problem. I was extremely confused. All that surrounded us were cornfields.
"What are we doing here?" I asked,"all I see is a cornfield."
"Follow me!" he grinned.
We walked over to the field.
"I hope you know there is a fence there." I giggled.
"Ya I get it. Come here." I came, "stand I front of me."
"Why.?"
"Just listen Jen."
So I listened to him and did what he told me. I stood in front of him my side facing him. He picked me up and lifted me over the fence.
"Really?!" I yelled.
"Ya really!" he said as he jumped the fence. "This way"
We walked together a while till we came upon a wheat field then stopped. There was a red, white, and blue plaid blanket, accompanied by a whole picnic.
"I love you." He put his hand on my cheek, "you know that?"
"Ya. Now shut up." I said as I leaned in and kissed him.
He pushed away and smiled. He lifted me up and spun me around as I laughed.
We sat and ate our food his mom obviously prepared.
"I love you Wren."
"I love you too."
"Your amazing."
"Do you ever stop talking Miss Jenny?" he kissed me again.
