16 - promise

Y/N POV

I woke up on a bed and scanned my surroundings, i was in the hospital room. I look to my side and saw Jungkook sleeping soundly on the chair. Was he here the whole night?

I combed his hair with my hand while admiring his facial features.

" Hmm... " He fluttered his big doe eyes open.

" O-Oh im sorry i woke you up. " I removed my hands from his hair as my cheeks turned red which made him chuckle.

" It's okay. How are you feeling by the way? " He held my hands.

" Better, " I smiled and so did he.

" Have you been here the whole night? " I asked.

" Yea... you know i can't leave my princess alone. " He gave me a peck on the cheeks.

" You know you don't have to do this right? " I brushed his hair again.

" But i know i have to do this and i will do it... for my princess... " He smiled.

A couple knocks were heard before the door opened to reveal a doctor coming in.

" Hello... Ms Y/N right? " He asked and I nodded. " And you must be Y/N's boyfriend i suppose. " He looked over to Jungkook. Jungkook looked at me and gave me a smile before nodding.

" Well i have some diagnosis to tell you two. Ms Y/N you had severe bruises and intense bleeding from your forehead. You also have a slightly fractured rib cage but not to worry, we settled all of the injuries you had. You are advised to rest a lot and refrain from doing vigorous activities. You'll be discharged the day after tomorrow. " Jungkook and i were glad to hear the good news. The doctor then nodded before he left.

" You better listen to the doctor and rest well okay, i don't want to see my princess getting hurt again... " He pouted which was so adorable.

" Okay... just for my cute little prince. " I pinched his cheeks and he laughed.

Suddenly the door opened again but this time Taehyung and Lisa walked in.

" We hope we didn't interrupt anything." Taehyung laughed.

" Nothing happened okay, you didn't interrupt anything. " Jungkook replied in an irritated manner. Taehyung laughed and the two of them then grabbed a chair and sat at the sides of the bed.

" Lisa you're discharged already? " I was surprised.

" Yea apparently. I didn't have any major injuries other than a little bit of blood loss but overall im fine. How about you? " She asked.

" Im great, I'll be discharged the day after tomorrow. " I smiled.

" So anyway about the serious matter, i told Lisa about the Ji Eun situation and i think we really need to work together to stop her, or at least try. " Taehyung said in a serious tone.

" Wait what about Ji Eun. I mean i know that she's going crazy and all but why does she keep on telling me that i owe her Jungkook? Doesn't she have Yugeom? " I sat up on the bed and Jungkook helped me.

" During the day when Ji Eun met Jungkook at the mall, Jungkook told Ji Eun that you're the one he loves before chasing after you and Ji Eun got suspicious and probably even jealous." Taehyung explained.

" Hey at least we succeeded in making her jealous? " Lisa joked.

" Well not in the way we wanted to... " Jungkook spoke.

" So what you're saying is Ji Eun is threatening me so that I'll leave Jungkook and then Jungkook will go back to her? " I asked.

" You can put it that way too... " Taehyung said.

" But the thing is what about Yugeom? " Jungkook asked.

" Yugeom? You mean Kim Yugoem? " Lisa spoke.

" I don't know his full name... can you show me a picture of him? " I asked.

" Yea sure. " She took out her phone and showed me the picture of the man that looks similar to the one who was with Ji Eun in Daegu.

" Yes that's him. Do you know him? " Jungkook asked.

" He was my childhood friend. " She explained.

" Good because we need to know what happened to Yugeom and Ji Eun since they used to be in a relationship but apparently not now. Is there anyway you can contact him? " Jungkook said.

" Yea i have his number. " Lisa replied.

" Well is there anyway to meet him up and ask about what happened? " Taehyung asked.

" I'll try to ask him. " Lisa began texting.

" Meanwhile, we should create a group chat so that we can contact each other easily about this. " Taehyung suggested.

We all nodded and created the group.

" Okay so he's available tomorrow afternoon. " Lisa said.

" Good. Do you need any company? " I asked.

" No it's okay. Yugeom is a good friend of mine, I'll be fine. " Lisa smiled.

" I guess i should get going, I'll text you guys in the group chat if there's any updates. " Lisa got ready to go home.

" Do you need a ride home? Im going back now as well. "  Taehyung asked.

" That will be great, thank you. " Lisa exclaimed.

Taehyung and Lisa then waved goodbye at us before leaving.

" You should get going too... " I turned and looked at Jungkook.

" No im not going to leave my princess alone anymore, i don't want to see you get hurt again... " Jungkook kissed my forehead.

" I really don't deserve you... " I pouted.

" And i don't deserve you too... " He pinched my cheeks.

" But Jungkook... can you promise me one thing..." I held his hands.

" Anything for you. " He smiled.

" If things really go bad... promise me that you'll go back to Ji Eun... " I was trying to hold back my tears.

" B-But- "

" No but's. If you want to protect me, this is the only way... I will still love you as much as i do now, i promise. But promise me that you'll go back to her. " I held his hands tightly.

" F-Fine... but im only doing this for you and to protect you. And remember that I'll still love you, no matter what..." Jungkook sighed.

" And I'll always love you too... " I give him a peck on the lips.

Jungkook smiled as he continued to hold my hand.

So bad news, I'll not be able to update daily for this week because i have a lot of events incoming up so i can't update tomorrow and maybe less updates for this weekend as well :< BUT I'LL TRY TO UPDATE REGULARLY AFTER THIS WEEK OKAY !! also just asking, do you want Lisa and Taehyung to become a thing? i originally didn't have the plan but after seeing their interaction now I feel that it would be suitable if i made them a item but im still thinking out it, you guys can help me as well by commenting if you want Taehyung and Lisa together. and thank you thank you thank you so so much for your support for this i love all of you guys :D ♥
