Hi, and welcome to Pain and Paradox!
We as authors new to this writing scene for Wattpad decided to start up with a wake up call to the LGBT community with the ideas of conformity and acceptance in a religious town. We explore many ideas in this story and think that people shouldn't take everything for granted. We've just seen so much hypocrisy in some religious people that it's purely disgusting. We wanted to emphasize that the gender you love isn't a choice. We want everyone to know that you should be true to yourself and to not let anyone else define your values or standards.
This story is important to us because we constantly notice and suffer through this new generation and standard of hate. It's become a true generalization of the lack of love from people to people.
We want spread awareness throughout the community (even though there have been stories like this).
