Chapter 1: A Beginning to Adventure
It all started when our young boy, Ash Ketchum, finished his Sinnoh region. He eagerly couldn't wait to start the new region right off the bat so he left home as quickly as he got there. Visiting his mother back in Pallet only lasted about 10 minutes max.
When Ash made it to Unova, he was first stopped by Zekrom which lead into him meeting Iris. Oh how much he hated her!
"So Ash, any idea where the Striaton City Gym is?" Iris questioned.
"No, no clue actually." Ash replied.
"Your such a little"-
She was interrupted by a green haired boy, taller than both Ash and Iris.
"Oh? I can take you there! The name is Cilan, a Pokémon connoisseur! We study the bond between trainer and Pokémon!" Cilan, The green haired boy said, with a ginormous smile.
Iris was annoyed. "Don't you think we know this already?"
"I didn't know until now.." Ash said.
"Wow I guess you really are a little kid!" Iris stated with a hint of laughter.
"Not surprising at all! Connoisseurs aren't known around the Kanto region." Cilan drags off with his wordings as he picks up Ash's Pikachu.
"Pikaaa!!" Pikachu cooed as Cilan stroked his tail.
"Let me show you to the gym now." Cilan finishes, as he is pulling Ash's sleeve gently.
As Ash and Iris both walk into the gym, Ash, of course, is overjoyed. It was his first gym in the Unova region and he yet again had the spirit to win. He already made up his mind for his party for the gym. Tepig, Pikachu, and Oshawott. He told Tepig that he would use him first during his first gym battle.
It ruined Ash's excitement when they realized what they stepped into was a Cafe, not a gym. He was very embarrassed for opening the front doors in joy. Cilan's brothers, Chili and Cress, seated him and asked him a lot of questions which annoyed him. He didn't want a drink, or food.
"All I want is a Striaton City Gym battle!" Ash screams.
"Oh.. so you're a challenger?" Says Chili.
All three brothers did a little twirl in front of the entrance to the gym battle floor as it was opening. They all lead Ash into the battle floor where the Gym Leaders' fangirls followed along with Iris.
"So, Ash who are you going to battle?" Cress asks.
"What do you mean..?" Ash asks back.
"Well you see, Ash, you have to choose one of us to battle you." Cilan says while smiling.
Man... Ash thinks. I really think I want to choose Cilan. There's something about him. His calmness, his gentleness, how caring he is, the glow of his smile... no I can't be gay, can I?
"Ash? Are you okay?" Cilan concerned.
"Oh yeah! Sorry. I decided I wanted to battle all three of you, if that's okay..?"
"All three of us? Quite interesting I have to say," states Cress. "I'll say yes if you agree Chili."
"The fiery determination of Ash allows me to say yes, of course!" Chili says joyfully. He is obviously excited.
Cilan nodded in agreement.
"Okay! How about we say two winning battles will win Ash's Striaton City Gym Badge?" Cress questioned.
The other two brothers nodded.
"Okay. Cilan you will be the referee and Chili will battle first." Cress orders.
Ash chose his Pokémon, Tepig, of course, and was ready.
"Let the battle begin!" Cilan yells out.
