12:30pm
"Ughhhh...my head" groaned a hungover Max. She rolled over and then her eyes flew open. She jumped up and noticed she wasn't in her hotel room. Max was inside a well furnished apartment.
Blinking a few times, she heard someone in the kitchen. Max sniffed the air.
Coffee.
Oh sweet coffee how Max needed you so.
Max got up from the couch and walked inside the kitchen, seeing a robbed Victoria. Max cleared her throat and smiled, waving.
"Oh well good afternoon, Mrs. Caulfield. Your coffee" Victoria spoke, smiling tenderly.
Max took the coffee cup and nodded.
"Ah thank you so much; smells hella good" she replied.
Victoria giggled and sat down at the kitchen table, Max joining her. The queen bee noticed the small bite mark on Max's neck. She chuckled to herself. Max blinked and looked up from her coffee.
"Vic...why are you chuckling?" she asked.
Victoria could only smile and shrug it off. "Oh it's nothing; why don't you get a nice hot shower and I'll grab you some clean clothes or" she paused and winked at Max.
"You can walk around my apartment, naked?" she eyed Max, up and down.
Max felt her cheeks heat up as she smiled, chuckling nervously.
"I'll get a shower and be waiting for those clean clothes, Vic."
Victoria laughed as she watched Max rise from her seat and make her way to bathroom. Once inside, Max closed the door and locked it behind her. She was panicking now.
What happened last night? Why was Victoria was so calm and happy this morning?
Wait....why is there a hickey on Max's neck?
"What?!" Max blurred out as she looked in the mirror. Her face went bright red. A nice small purple blue bruise was visible on her neck and a few small ones along her jawline. She was running her fingers along them, slowly.
"Vic-Victoria bit me...she-she-" Max was shocked. She didn't know what to think. Did they have sex? Did they just make out? Max needed answers but was Victoria willing to give them to her?
A knock came from the bathroom door, Max nearly jumped from her skin.
"Max, I have clean clothes for you; I'll place them in my bedroom; I'll be in the living room If you need me" Victoria spoke, gently. Max replied with a simple yes and thank you as she started the shower. A sigh left her lips, softly.
"She kissed me....or did I kiss her?" Max thought, stepping into the shower slowly. Allowing the warm water to run down her figure. She hummed in pleasure. Beginning to wash her hair, Max noticed she was deep in thought. Last night was a blur for her. She remembered going out with Victoria and leaving the club but the rest was foggy.
Shutting the shower off, Max grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her figure. She opened the bathroom door and made her way to Victoria's room. Noticing black skinny jeans and a red flannel top on the bed, she smirked and raised an eye brow.
"Hmm a bit different for you, Vic?" she whispered to herself. Max dried her body off, throwing the wet towel into the near by hamper. She began to slowly dress herself.
Looking in the bedroom mirror, Max was impressed how good she looked. She smiled and made her way out of the bedroom and into the living room.
"Hey Vic, can I ask you something?"
Victoria sipped her coffee before setting the mug down on a coaster on the table.
"Sure Maxine; what do you have in mind for a question?" she mimicked.
Max smirked and then blushed, biting her bottom lip. Her hands trembled a bit before the question left her lips, finally.
"D-did I kiss you or did you kiss me? What happened last night?" she asked.
A giggle escaped Victoria's lips.
"Honey, that's two questions; not one"
Max blushed and scratched the back of her head as she chuckled, nervously.
"You're right; you can answer either, it doesn't matter to me" she explained.
Victoria could only smile at how Max was acting. Nervous and not making direct eye contact with her. She got up and made her way to the nervous hipster. She ran a finger along the bite marks on her jaw line.
"You approached me and had your way with me, Max" she whispered.
Max looked like a deer head lights. Victoria laughed, loudly.
"Maxine, I'm just kidding but you did kiss me and I deepened the kiss" she explained.
Max blushed and looked away from her. Victoria giggled and leaned in towards her ear and whispered.
"So Max, are we dating or would you like for us to date a little more?"
Such a serious question. Max felt like a deer that was stuck behind a fence. She rubbed her arm and smiled, nervously.
"We could go on some more dates and see where this goes? if that's fine for you, Victoria" she whispered, softly.
Victoria nodded and kissed her forehead, softly. "That's fine, love; whatever makes you feel comfortable" she explained. Max was shocked but she felt safe with her. Victoria was willing to be patient with her. This was quit different due to the fact that back in the day, the queen bee of Blackwell was very impatient and would always get what she wanted but here Victoria was being so gentle and understanding.
Who was she? And what did she do with the real Victoria Chase?
With that, Max said her good byes to Victoria and would text her when she returned to her hotel room. She needed to go to Chase Space and finish her work. But Victoria was on her mind more then before.
The two were dating now.
It was a surprise but a good one.
Max flagged down a taxi and gave the driver the address to the hotel and was on her way.
Inside the cab, Max's phone went off. It was a text message from Victoria.
"Maxine, I wanted to let you know, I had a nice time with you last night and I also can't wait for us to go on our next date; I shall send the details and we shall go from there. If anything changes, let me know, alright, love? I shall see you soon xoxox Victoria."
Max could only smile. Her heart fluttered and for once, her mind was calm. She held her phone close to her chest and sighed, contently. It was a calm car ride to the hotel, that was for sure.
