His Point of View

After winning sa basketball match namin, I immediately when to my locker and checked my phone. I smiled when I received a message from Jeid.

'Love galingan mo sa laro niyo ah. Saka alam ko namang mananalo kayo, Ikaw kaya ang the best basketball player.  After niyan, mag-pahinga kana. Wag kang masyadong magpagod. Goodluck love.

I smiled. How lucky can I get. I'm starting to like Jeid. I remembered the time na napag-pustahan nang team mates ko na ligawan siya, she became popular sa  campus. Siya lang kasi ang pinaka-unang scholar na napunta sa university namin. Yes she's gorgeous, and cute but not my type. Pero nang lahat sila ay binasted niya, that's when she got my attention. I courted her, not because I like her, na-curious ako kung anong meron siya. Nang sinagot niya ako, nakunsensya ako when i got to know her family background. We lasted for 1 month, thats when I decided to give it a try.

Hindi na ako nag-reply sakanya. I was planning on visiting her in her boarding house when my team mates invited me for a drink. Hindi na ako nagpa-alam kay Jeid, ang akala ko kasi it'll only take 30 minutes. But it didn't. Hindi ko in-expect na may kinuha pala silang mga babae. And to my surprise, Lara's also there. She looked really sexy that night. I didn't know that she has a wild side, and her choice of dress that night is kinda good. As a normal teenager, my body reacted ofcourse, pero inisip ko, maybe because its been too long that me and Jeid shared a passionate night, ni hindi ko nga maimagine that I'm having  a freakin' boner at my girlfriend's friend. Dahil malapit narin siya sakin, sa tabi ko siya umupo, we talked. But then napupunta na sa usapang sex ang topic and she also asked me when was the last time , me and Jeid had sex. At first hindi ko iyon pinagtuonan nang pansin, i even joked around, but then habang tumatagal my mind got clouded. Nahimasmasan nalang ako when Lara pulled my neck and kissed me hard. I got aroused yes, we almost made it to bed, then I realized that its wrong. That I'm an asshole. Agad nawala ang init na nararamdaman ko.

"Lara this is wrong. "

  "Zion its not, you can't deny the fact na gusto mo ito, and besides, hindi naman ito malalaman ni Jeid. "

She even tried to remove my shirt pero pinigilan ko siya. Yes I don't love Jeid, but I'm respecting her.

"No. I'm just drunk. Fix yourself and forget that this happened"

Instead na gawin ang sinabi ko, she stripped in front of me.

  "Zion, Just one night. Please, I promise. Jeid won't even hear a thing about this"

Napa-iling ako. No. I can't even feel anything, except anger that time, how can she do this. Seeing her, standing naked in front of me makes me wanna shout at her. But I calmed myself

"I admit may mali rin ako, but If you can't respect your friend, At least have a little respect for yourself"

I walked out of the room and headed straight home. I avoided Jeid and Lara for a week. Not because I just want to, but because I'm too ashamed of myself. Seeing her, smile at me makes me feel terrible. I've been an asshole. I regret every single thing about it. I was planning na makipag-break sakanya, hindi kakayanin nang konsensya kong pakisamahan siya at hayaan siyang maging mabait sakin after what happened.
I kept my cellphone at bumili nang bago.
