Reality of Love

What does it mean to Love?

"Well what does it mean?"

When you know you are loving the right person it means that everything is going to be okay. It means that you are doing everything you can in order to show how much you love that person. It doesn't mean that your world revolves around this person. It doesn't mean that at all. It means that you want to do what ever you can to make them as happy as you are. 

Sometimes though we end up sacrificing just a bit too much for that person. Sometimes they don't sacrifice anything or the things that aren't even a sacrifice for them suddenly are sacrifices. For me time never felt wasted when I was with the "one". His presence brought me peace, it silenced even my darkest demons because "love" to me meant that I could finally have quiet, it meant that I had no reason to think through every little thing, it meant that I was okay to be me. 

To me love meant being truly vulnerable with someone. This is something you probably feel will never be the case for you. When it is true love you will never want to let that go. You will do everything you can in order to continue to feel at peace. 

So does being in love mean being at peace? Not at all, it is a wish that everyone has when they are in love but it also means the worst fights you will face with anyone. This is only because of the true passion you will have for that person. The true fights will be the extremes in emotions towards it all. If you had the same fight with anyone else it wouldn't come close to how terrible it feels to fight with someone you love. God is it painful. What ever they say hurts 10x more than it would with anyone else, but why does it have to hurt so much?

This is what truly makes loving someone so complicated, the highs and lows are the most extreme things you will feel in your life towards anything. Loving someone truly is a sacrifice, you are risking the pain of it all through not only knowing there will be fights that sting, but also if it ends...
