Ch. 18 Goodbye, Touya

"Now then, who wants to die first?"

Shouto's POV

I stared at my possessed brother, our eyes locked with heavy tension. I could feel Izuku trembling in my arms at the sight of his captor catching us escaping. I fear for Izuku's safety the most as well as for the others.

I can hear Bakugou growling beside me right before he yelled at him, "What the fuck do you want with us!?" He was clearly not focusing much with the rage building up inside of him.

"Heh. What do I want with you? Easy," he took a step forward. "I just want you all dead."

Third person POV

Shouto got his guard up once Dabi got into a fighting stance, he made two fire balls in his hands and got ready to fire them. "Stay still now so I can burn you all to hell." Then launching the fireballs with full force.

Shouto and the others dodged them quickly, Uraraka being pulled to the side by Mina just in time before it exploded when it came in contact with the floor.

Shouto saw how much damage the fireball made on the concrete floor, which gave him an idea to their first step of escaping. When there was a pause of the attacks, he took this time and hurriedly explain his plan to Izuku in a whisper.

"Izuku, I'm going to hand you to Momo, okay? I'll make an escape route for you guys to escape so don't leave her side." He had his eyes on Dabi to look out for any sudden attacks, he couldn't tell what face Izuku was making, but was sure that the greenette must be very worried for him.

"B-But Shouto, what about you?" The greenette tried to stay quiet for the other vampire not to hear, he clung onto Shouto tighter, not wanting to let him go becuz he knew the two-toned haired vamp will do something dangerous.

The said male hugged him tighter in acknowledgement of his lover's distress and worry, dodging a fire ball while at it. "I'll be okay Izuku, right now I need you to be safe for me," he glanced at him for a quick moment, mouthing the word, "please." With how much worry he could put into his eyes for the green haired human to understand that he doesn't want Izuku to be anywhere near this disaster.

Izuku gulped and resisted the urge to cry right now, and nodded for Shouto to proceed his plans. "Shouto." He got the attention of his lover right before he was about to take action. "Please be safe." The green haired male bit his quivering bottom lip and hugged the vamp tightly once more, Shouto returning it with a low sigh. "I will, Izuku. I promise."

Right after that, Shouto stood up from his kneeling position and got the dark vampire to notice him. "Touya, if you really want to kill me, then you have to do a better job at aiming me." He smirked at the vamp, trying to anger Dabi to aim at him while he's standing in front of the wall that's blocking their way out.
