The next couple of weeks consisted of Nick and Sòfia sneaking around.
Not in that sense but in the sense that their alliance had to be kept a secret.
They often arranged late night meet-ups and rarely spoke on anything that left a trace, in fear of Alejandro catching on.
Despite all this effort, Alejandro always appeared to be one step ahead;
and everytime Nick and Sòfia seemed to be making strides in the right way with the investigation
Alejandro made it almost impossible for them.
Well, that was until recently.
Information had been leaked to the DEA that Alejandro and a few of his allies would be hosting an exclusive poker game.
"Ok Sòfia do you think you could get in?" Nick asks, looking up from his plan of action
Sòfia who was propped on a nearby desk nods her head
"Okay great, so you'll use this to talk to me, there will be disguised officers around so be careful" nick warns her, offering her a tiny Bluetooth earpiece
"Don't worry about me" she smiled before jumping off the desk and taking the earpiece off Nick.
Swaying her hips, she made her way to the entrance and turned around to be met with nick's eyes wandering up and down her body whilst biting his lip
"Let's go catch that Son of a bitch" she says, before smirking And leaving the room

The time was now 7:45pm and time for Sòfia to begin getting ready
Placing the dress she was planing to wear on her bed, she enters into her shower.
After about an hour or so, Sòfia was ready.
"Damn ma, you look good" she mutters to herself in the mirror, making last minute adjustments and putting her heels on
She places in her earpiece and coughs
"You there Mara?" She asks as she put in her diamond earrings
"I'm here Lòpez" she hears over the earpiece which causes her to smile unknowingly
"You ready to finally catch this son of a bitch?" He asks
"It's now or never baby"
