CHAPTER THIRTEEN!

"Damn ma" Nick laughed
as he looked down at the
unconscious man

"He thinks he can be all up
on me" Sòfia scoffs as she grabs
Nick by his jacket and tugs at
him to come closer

"What are we going to do about
my dad?" Sòfia asks looking
slightly down

Nick kneels down so that
he is facing her
and puts his hand on
her face

"We'll find him baby"
Nick says smiling which
causes Sòfia to smile too

"I really do love you" she slips
out before covering her mouth
with her hand and looking at
Nick with wide eyes

Nick laughs before pulling
her into a hug, he tucks her
hair behind her ear before
whispering
"I love you too baby"

This causes Sòfia to smile
as she held him a little
tighter, not wanting this
moment to end by any means
necessary.

"You're holding on a little too
tight Ma" nick laughed which
caused Sòfia to sigh

"I just never want to lose you
Nick" she says sadly which
causes nick to lift her head so
that he was facing her

"You'll never lose me,
We got that forever type of love
you feel me" he winks, placing
a kiss on her forehead

"I'm worried about my dad, what
if he hurts you?"
She says as tears begin to form

"We don't know where he
is right now Nick, I'm so
scared I'll lose you" she says
sadly

Nick felt a pang in his
chest as he realised that
Sòfia was right

They weren't just dealing with
a random drug dealer, but
with the druglord himself

The threat of him retaliating
was very high and with Nick
not being able to pinpoint his
location; the danger of
him being at large was very much
there.

Deciding that telling his
already very upset girlfriend
about this would make
matters worse

Nick simply hugged her and
rubbed her head in attempts
to calm her down

"We'll be fine baby, everything
will be okay"

What Nick and
Sofia weren't aware of
during their interaction

Was that someone was listening
in closely, Gustavo's cousin
Philip to be specific

Being curious as to where
his cousin had disappeared to
and having being able to
hide from the police and the DEA
who had raided the party earlier,
he began looking for Gustavo

Granted, you can imagine
the shock on his face when he
not only found his cousin lying
unconscious on the floor but also
Alejandro's daughter and
the man who was after Alejandro in
a tight embrace

Waiting for them to leave, he runs
into the room and shakes his
cousin violently to get him to wake up

"Gustavo, hermano, get up" he says
and Gustavo begins to stir before
opening his eyes

"What happened" he mumbles as
he sits up and takes in his environment
He takes a minute to recall what
happened before he passed out

"That bitch" he yells frustratedly when
he remembers what happened

"That bitch Sòfia Lòpez has
got a mean left hook" he mumbles
as he touches his now bruised
cheek

"Hermano, calm down, I may have
news that will make you feel better"
Philip says smirking

This caught Gustavo's attention and
he raises an eyebrow

"Sòfia is dating that Americano
who works for the DEA"
