Connor's P.O.V.
I sat at my desk drawing the same thing I always do. A girl. I don't know her, I've never seen her, at least not that I know about. But the girl has scars on her arms like she cuts herself and is very skinny like she's anorexic. Her long, straight hair falls perfectly over her shoulders, her blue-grey eyes always look straight at me but they're hiding something.
"Connor! Can you come down here?" My mom calls up the stairs.
"Sure!" I close my sketch book and go down stairs. My parents are sitting in the living room. "Did I do something?"
"No." Mom assures me, "but you've been, very, how do I say it?"
"Distant." my dad says.
"Yes. Distant. Honey, is there something you need to tell us?"
"What? No! Why would you think that?" I say.
"Well, you're a teenager now, and we just want to make sure everything is fine."
"Everything is perfect Mom."
"Well, what about that girl you've been drawing? Who is she?"
"I don't know who she is. She's just some girl that I'm drawing."
"Honey, the girl you've been drawing, she has cut scars on her arms and she's very skinny. Are you sure she's not your friend. If she is you need to see if you can convince her to get help."
"Mom I told you, I don't know who she is." I say as I go upstairs. I open my sketch book and start drawing again. I wish I knew who she was. I do want to help her. After I finish the drawing I take it out of the book and fold it. I put it in my pocket and go downstairs. "I'm going for a walk." I say.
