Connor's P.O.V.
"Why not?" Summer asked.
"Because I can't. I don't really see how you can." She stared at me with such seriousness that I didn't know what to think. I heard her stomach growl. I remembered her not eating much for dinner. Her lips were straight across no emotion. Except for her eyes which sparkled.
"I can't!" she snapped. "That's why you have to. If you forget then I'll be forced to." Her eyes filled with tears.
"You expect me to forget the unforgettable?"
"Yes!"
"Candy Shoppe Café kiss forgotten. But this-" I kissed her right then and there. "No. I won't forget that." She slapped me. I don't really know what I expected her to do. I put my hand on my cheek. "Wow!"
That's when the unexpected happened. Summer Bright grabbed the collar of my shirt, pulled me in, and kissed me.
