Connor's P.O.V.
"I'm sorry." I said as I stood up. I reached out my hand to help the girl up.
"Watch where you're going!" she snapped. I gasped when I saw her face.
I pulled out my drawing and unfolded it. "You're her." I said as I stared at the picture.
"Who?"
"You're her." I said as I showed her the picture. She yanked the picture from my hands.
"Are you stalking me?"
"What? No!"
"Then how'd you do this? Huh? How'd you do this?"
"I-I don't know. Honest. It just kind if came to me." I calmed down. "You need help."
"What?"
"You need help."
"I don't need any help! You're the one who needs help!"
I grabbed her arm and pulled up her sleeve. "This is what you need help with." Her stomach growled.
She yanked her arm away. "Get lost."
I thought for a moment. "You're right. How about I make it up to you by taking you out for lunch."
"What? No!"
"Come on. I'm famished. My treat." She stared at me for a moment as if trying to find out if I was serious or not.
"Fine."
"Great. I know this fantastic café." She followed me half way across town. We took a seat a candy shoppe table. A waitress took our orders. "My name's Connor."
"My name's Summer." She said hesitantly.
"I'm fourteen. How 'bout you?"
