"Sweetie, you made it"

"Hi, eomma" he kissed her cheek and gave her a hug

"I've been telling Ami you were really busy so you probably wouldn't be able to come"

"What did she say?"

"You know her. Pouting is her thing"

"With all due respect.." Jimin said and she flinched in surprise. She hadn't had the chance to see him "..I would've never allowed him to miss it"

"Eomma.." Kookie took a step back "This is Park Jimin"

"Hi, nice to meet you" he extended his hand to greet her "I'm sorry I didn't wait until I was properly introduced"

Well, it was obvious she didn't expect that
"H-hi. No, don't worry; please come in. Jungkook.." she turned to him "..that wasn't polite. You should've introduced him first"

They walked in and she closed the door behind them, followed by a girl's voice coming from the hallway
"Mom, have you seen my~" she peered into the living room, stopping her tracks before bolting towards her brother, complete ignoring there was someone else standing right behind him
"Oppa!!!" she shouted and clung into his neck as usual

"Happy Birthday, Ami"

"I knew you'd come!" she pulled away, her eyes widening when she spotted the singer's figure now standing next to Jungkook

"Hi, Ami. Happy Birthday" he said with a giggle and her face went full red

"Oh my God... I can't believe you brought him!!" she told her brother without taking her eyes off the silver haired boy
"Thank you for coming..." she held his hand "..omg my friends are gonna die"

"Ami go and finish getting ready. We'll wait for you in the back" Kookie said and she smiled and turned around.. mumbling something he could only wish Jimin hadn't heard

"...I can't believe he's finally dating him"

Jungkook's POV:

Kids kept running around, mostly my sister's friends. The house was full of people and to be honest.. I kind of missed this
Jimin looked so calm, like it was just another interview.. always so sweet and charming.
He would never act like that at home.

It made me wonder if he ever acts like that when an audience isn't involved

"Jimin, sweetie.." my mom approached us "..i'm sorry but there's some people who would really love to meet you. I apologize if it bothers you, I know you must feel overwhelmed"

"Oh, no. Don't worry, it'd be my pleasure" he smiled once more

-so beautiful.. but fake-

And they walked away..

-if I could make you smile.. this time for real..-

"KOOKIE!!!" was the last thing I heard before someone landed on my back

"Hi.. Joonie" I stumbled "You've grown"

"I'm gonna be as tall as Jin soon!"

"That's not true!" Seokjin tugged on my sleeve, almost making me lose balance and I could bet that Namjoon was sticking his tongue out to him looking at his face getting mad

"That's not fair! You're older too!"

"I'm only 6"  Jin replied with an annoyed face

"But Kookie loves me the most!" Joon leaned back while clinging on my neck
