Chapter Thirteen

This chapter is told in Cyborg's point of view back in Titans Tower.

"Hi, I'm Kid Flash."

"Uhh yeah, I remember you." I said as I opened the door. "We've actually met before remember?" asked Robin from inside.

"Right, but I just thought it suited the moment." he said playfully.

"You called?" asked a voice from behind Kid Flash.

Jinx looked as pink as ever as her smirk shined in the early sun's rays.

"Yeah, we didn't have time to explain everything through communicator, but we actually need your help, you know, now that you're officially part of the good guys." I said raising my eyebrows.

"Yeah, that actually came as a shock to us. " said Robin. They both stepped in as Jinx rolled her eyes.

"Let's just say, I've had a change of heart." she said smiling looking up at Kid Flash.

"She just couldn't resist." he replied with cockiness written all over his face.

"Oh pipe down Lightspeed." she said just as playfully.

They really were made for each other. I couldn't help wonder what would have happened if I would have stayed apart of The Hive Five, but then Jinx would have never been on our side. Things were meant to be this way.

"Cyborg?" I was lost in thought when I heard Jinx ask, "What's happened?"

"Oh right... Robin you want me to explain?" He still wasn't in the best condition to lead anything and it might be best for me to tell them what has happened to the other Titans.

"Knock yourself out." he said sitting down on the sofa, with an edge of irritation in his voice. So, I did as I was told and told them everything as quickly as I could. When I was finished, the expressions on their faces saddened .

"Oh Robin, I'm so sorry about Starfire and your friends." said Jinx. Kid Flash really has softened her up.

"Yeah, I wouldn't know what I would do without my slow poke here." he said in response. Robin remained where he was and acknowledged their sentiments.

After a while Jinx broke the silence. "So what's the plan?" I showed her the vaccine and what I had in mind.

"Hmm, so all we have to do is find Beast Boy and Raven by the time the blood moon rises huh?" asked Kid Flash.

"Exactly." I responded.

"What about Starfire?" asked Robin with no emotion seeping through his voice.

"We'll find her Robin, anything for the Team." answered Jinx, surprisingly. It's amazing how love will completely change a person.

Robin looked towards us and all he could manage was a sincere "Thank you."
