Allison's Point of View
"Welcome to Princeton Academy," Elijah says turning to look at me with a smirk.
You say what now? Feeling an enormous wave of anger boil in my veins, I pull off all the cables that were connected to my arms. Hands clenched at my sides, I get out of bed and stomp my way towards Elijah. This little prick better be joking or he's in for a big ball of Allison.
Stomping over to a smirking Elijah, I walk until I'm directly in front of him. "What did you just say?" I force out though clenched teeth.
Elijah was about to respond when Basil walked up to me and placed a glowing hand on my forearm.
"W-what is that?" I tried to pull away but quickly felt my anger dissipate.
"Feisty one isn't she?" Elijah said with a chuckle.
"Sweetie, you need to calm down before we can give you answers." Basil said, which only made her hands glow a brighter pink.
Signing, I awkwardly tried to cross my arms over my chest with basil's hand still on my arm.
"Perfect," she chirped out. "Now, if you can please follow this dimwit he will explain as much as he can to you."
Letting a groan escape my lips, I angrily rolled my eyes. Who do these people think they are? Clearly they aren't normal, but kidnapping is not acceptable! When someone gets into a car accident don't they go to a hospital? Don't they contact their family and tell them what happened? Oh crap, my parents! They're probably really pissed, but that's nothing new when it comes to my parents and I.
"Well, c'mon then, we don't have all day." Elijah said, sounding irritated.
Following him through the sleek silver hallways, I tightly wrap my arms around myself for comfort. I feel fear. Enough to make me want to cry my eyes out till some of this made any sense. Feeling a large knot double over in my throat, I hold back tears that threatened to spill out of my eyes. I am no superman, but I refuse to cry. Not now at least, maybe when I'm alone in bed, but definitely not now.
I could feel Elijah glancing over at me, but I refuse to look at him. Doing so would only show him how all this makes me feel and I refuse to give him that satisfaction. I'm still not sure how I feel about him and I sure as hell don't trust him. Not yet at least. Squaring my shouldering, I put on my brave face and continue walking.
Hearing laughter off into the hallway, I look up to see a group of girls whispering to each other. I see them giggle as Elijah gives them a half smile. Walking by them, I give them a small smile and continue on my way. Hearing gasps come from someplace behind me, I turn to see the girls give me a face of shock and utter disgust. Keeping my head up, I let their rejection roll off my shoulders. I have enough problems and snobby girls isn't going to be one of them.
After walking for what seemed like forever, I finally reached the elevators. Elijah did the pleasure of pressing the button as I leaned against one of the walls. Hearing commotion, I look up to see two guys pushing and back talking each other.
"She's mine, stay away from her Michael," Someone growled out.
"She chose me, get over it Aiden," Another said.
Elijah was quick to act and stepped in-between both of them.
"Enough," Elijah's voice boomed through the room. "How many times do I have to separate you both."
Snickers came from both of the boys. "Stay out of it, old man." A tall brown haired boy sneered back.
"Remember your place, Aiden." Elijah growled back.
