*Allison's Point Of View*
I aimlessly walked around the grassy maze in hopes of reaching the exit. I took a left, then a right, and then another left turn, but was faced with yet another dead end. As I turned to leave, I felt the bone piercing chill that came whenever a ghost was in my presence.
Slowly turning around, I hoped I was wrong but came face to face with the ghost I have seen for the past couple years. The same ghost that brought those awful nightmares.
Materializing just inches from me, my breathing begun to speed up a bit. It had been weeks since I last saw him and right now was not the time I was hoping to see him again. "Hello Allison," he spoke proudly.
I stared at him wide-eyed, never has he tried to talk to me. All he ever did was just stare at me with his piercing green eyes. Why talk to me now?
That was the million dollar question that was running rabid through my mind. This is all a dream; just imagine yourself waking up in bed back at home. It wasn’t working, the ghost was still there.
"W-who are you? What do you want?" I croaked out.
His mighty laugh boomed all around me.
"Me? Well, I can't tell you who I am, but that's for you to find out. You have a destiny to fulfill Alison, much greater than you can ever imagine." He boomed with his mighty deep voice.
"A destiny? What kind of destiny? What are you talking about?" I croaked out. He gave me a sad smile and materialized just inches from my face. The cold was getting unbearable and I was starting to feel that throbbing pain in the back of my skull.
"That is for you to find out in due time, but just remember your actions will not only affect you, but will also affect those around you. No matter what, your destiny will not be changed.” He looked off into the open air just for a moment and continued.
"You were meant to be who you are, this is your destiny and nobody else but you can fulfill this. You’re our kind’s last hope." He gave me a sad smile and vanished into thin air just as quickly as he came.
The icy numbness was slowly going away, but that didn't stop me from turning around and sprinting into another passage in the maze. I made a left, then a right, and just managed to get myself caught in another dead end. I wasn't about to give up, and made my way towards yet another path. While I was running the bushy walls started to come closer to me and weeds were coming out of the ground and trying to get a hold of me. I pushed harder and ran faster; I wasn't going to give up so quickly.
The bushy walls were slowly turning into bloody walls and the weeds just kept sprouting from the ground in an attempt to get a hold of me. I tried to swerve to the right but only managed to run straight into the wall. Trying to get away from, the walls turned into a gunky blob that was slowly trying to devour me. I tried to pull my body free from the blob but only managed to sink myself further into the wall.
"Help," I screamed out.
"Anyone, help me!" I cried out.
But no response. I started going into hysterics as the enormous green blob was taking a hold of my arm and then my legs. Trying to breathe air, I only found a pasty substance filling my lungs. The darkness began to creep over me, but I had no fight left in me to stay awake.
