I was on bed when i heard Mami's voice, i kept dabating whether to fake a sleep or go and face her and the wedding madness when i heard a knock on the door and there she was standing.
"Mami, am having a headache"i lied.
"Eyyah, my baby worry not, its normal for a bride to feel sick when the marriage is by the door"she smiles.
"Can i have a little sleep?" i asked charmingly.
"Yes dear"
Wedding week.
Day one.
Its my henna day, and all my friends came.
All their hands were beautifully decorated.
Mine looked amazing.
"So how does he look like"Batul asked.
I have totally forgotten about a groom.
I never thought of his looks, character. I was busy praying the wedding to be cancelled."I dont know fa, I have not seen him yet." i replied.
"Lallai toh Allah bada zaman lafiya"
"Ameen Batul thank you"
The week went quite fast, before i knew it, its only hours to me been a married woman.
I really can't thank Batul for helping me take off things off my mind.
"Happy married life"i heard Adda say as she walked into the room.
"What? har an daura"i asked.
"Yes dear, you are now under him"she said as she hugged me.
"So am finally leaving this house"i wispered to her with tears.
"Yes dear, Allah bada zaman lafiya"she replied and left.
"Toh matan Mubarak, Allah bada zaman lafiya"Batul said.
"Ameen"
I am definitely not happy but striving to be just to make Abba happy.
After everything was over and its time to take me to my house mami walked in.
"Happy married life dear"she said and embraced me.
"Thank you Mami, I love you"i shyly replied.
"Abba wants to see you before you leave"she wispered.
"Ok"
We left with mami to meet Abba in his room.
"Tasneem happy married life dear"Abba said and embraced me.
"Thank you Abba"i replied with tears.
"My dear i never wished on marrying you off this early but i can't reject him, please do me a favour and leave happily with your husband"Abba wispered to me.
"Insha Allah Abba i will"i cried.
"Tasneem lets leave they are here to pick you up"Mami interrupted.
"Toh Mami" i replied and left after having a peck from Abba.
We arrived at my house and after sometime everyone left.
I sat on the bed in my room lonely, staring at the ceiling with tears running down my cheeks thinking of how am going to face a new life with only me and him.
I sat for hours in the mighty house all alone.
"Its late, where must he be"i said to myself.
Almost past 12 when i heard a honk and the gateman opens the gate.
"Its him"i said to myself and rushed down stairs to meet my husband.
I opened the entrace door stood there waiting to meet him, i stared at the car as the door opens and there he was, a handsome good looking man.
When i saw him walking towards me, tears rolled down my cheeks as i ran to my room.
