Months past by, everyday was worst than the other all i see are lashes of cane.
I hardly eat properly nor sleeps, everything was getting worst until this day I finally made up my mind on leaving the house but promise not to let Abba know about what i was going through.I packed my cloths and drove away.
On reaching home I was happy Abba wasn't at home so I got the chance to plan what to tell him with Mami."My dear what happened" Mami asked as I walked in.
"Mami am back home, I can't take it anymore" I replied crying.
"My dear kowa hakuri yekeyi, you just have to be patient"
"Mami ko mi hoti sare yende mi wari do (since I left the other day I visited) I've been facing nothing but beatings, Mami laru bawo'am (see my back)" I replied crying.
"Subhanallah, Allah hoinu" Mami said with tears.
"So Mami what should we tell Abba, if he ask why i came home"
"Don't worry about him"
"Mami you can't tell him, you know how Abba can be when he gets angry"
"I know my dear, don't worry just go to your room and have some rest"
"Ok Mami thank you soo much, I love you"
"I love you too dear"
I left to my room, it was still like before nothing changed.
I walked in dropped my cloths and got a quick shower then jumped on my bed just then the twins walked in."Adda Tasneem" they happily hugged me.
"My babies, how was school"
"Alhamdulillah, Noi sare and Hamma Mubarak" they both replied.
"Fine Alhamdulillah, he travelled so I came here instead of staying alone"
"Does that mean you're spending like a week here" Manal happily asked.
"Or more than that, cause he has a lot to do"
"Yay, daman we missed you" Minal replied.
"Ehen Abba warti o vi a wara to a timmini (Abba is back and he's calling you)" Minal informed.
"Ok toh, let me go and meet them, you guys should go and change okay"
"Okay"
"My darling I missed you, come hug Abba" Abba happily said when seeing me.
"Abba I missed you more" I said and hugged him.
"How have you been"
"Abba Alhamdulillah"
"Ai ni tafiyannan a dadi na (I'm soo happy about his trip) I will get to chat with my daughter after a long time.
"Yes Abba" I happily replied.
"Tasneem go have some rest my dear" Mami interrupted.
"Ah ah mi somai larugo mo (I'm not tired of seeing her)" Abba jokingly said.
"She's here for a week ai or more sef, you will get tired of seeing her please" Mami also replied jokingly.
"Toh shikenan, Tasneem go to your room dear"
"Toh Abba se yeso (see you later)"
"Ok dear"
I left for my room all happy thou with some thoughts of how Mubarak is, just as I entered my room few drops of tears came down.
"Tasneem why are you missing him after all he doesn't care about you at all so wipe your tears and move on joor" I said to myself.
Mubarak's POV
I arrived home all tired.
"Tasneem, Tasneem" I called out.
But to my surprise I had no response.
I went upstairs to her room, but to my surprise she was not there, I had a thought maybe she's in the rest room or somewhere else, I searched the whole house but all in vein no-one was there.
"Yau kuma ta fita ko, zata dawo ta same ni wlh (She went out again, she will come and meet me)"
