Chapter 6 - Now what?

Adrien's POV.

As I slid on my shirt, I couldn't help but think about Mari and what has been going through her mind. "Plagg, what do you think she is going to say? Do you think she'll be worrying because that's the last thing I want her to be doing."

"Kid, listen to me. You're stressing now too. Just go down there and listen to her. Now my cheese, that is something to stress about..."

I rolled my eyes and threw him a slice of cheese. Plagg could be thoughtful and kind sometimes. I wonder what Tikki was like. My head whipped around at the sound of a knock at the door. My heart sped up at the thought of Mari. "Mr. Agreste, breakfast is ready." It was just Nathalie. "Coming." I took a deep breath and walked down stairs. Marinette was already at the table, carefully chewing her food. As her eyes drifted to mine she paled.

Marinette's POV.

I was so deep in thought that I didn't hear Adrien (or is it Chat?) coming down stairs. My eyes automatically darted towards the approaching boy, the moment his emerald, green eyes met mine, my brain chanted, 'you've kissed, you've kissed.' I almost fell off my chair. He hesitantly padded towards the table and sat down next to me. He looked at me, expecting something. I took a shaky breath and began: "Adrien, Chat, whoever you are, I've realised that I've always loved you..." I was cut off by Adrien pressing a finger to his lips. I pouted wondering why he would silence me when I was pouring my heart out to him. He leaned over the edge of the table, gently pulled back the hair covering my ear and whispered, "Not here, tonight meet me in my room. I have a surprise Bugaboo." His breath tickled my ear and I nodded. We went back to eating our breakfast and making idol conversation.

Soon enough Nathalie came into the room and informed us that we would be leaving for school in ten minutes. We finished our lunch and walked out the front of the estate. Gorilla was parked and waiting. Adrien opened the door and guided me into the car. The ride was silent both of us in deep thought. As we pulled up to school I slid out of my seat, thanked Gorilla and skipped up to Alya. Who was standing by the steps looking at her phone. "Alya. You're never going to believe what happened to me."

"Girl, I bet it won't be as crazy as what happened to me."

"I moved in with Adrien."

"You did WHAT? Date, mariage then move in."

"His father is adopting me while my parents are in China."

"Girl THATS crazy."

"There's more."

"What?"

I took a deep breath and pulled on my bag strap. She looked me with confusion and interest. She hand on her hip and eyebrows furrowed.

"We are together." Her eyes widened and she jumped and up down screaming. "My ship... has sailed." She kept wheezing. I patted her on the shoulder and attempted to soothe her. I knew this was a bigger deal then her news. "What did you want to tell me?"

"Oh. Nino and I are sorta together too."
