Chapter 6

Conall's POV

I stare at the new school I will be attending for the next year. Still not believing my parents allowed me to come to a human school. I sigh and get out the car my father let me borrow, swinging my backpack onto my shoulder as I lock the door.

I look around for my friends, who along with me came to this school. We all wanted a little bit of normalcy before becoming Alpha's full time. I spot them not far away from the car, and walk towards them ignoring all the stares I'm getting from everyone around me.

Emer sees me just before I reach them, and walks towards me dragging Mimir behind him. When we meet up, we all start asking each other how the trip was, and how our parents took the news of going to this school. After a few minutes of catching up, we all head towards the middle of the school, chatting about things to do while we're here in the human world.

A breeze blew past us as we entered the courtyard, then it blew again but from a different direction. On it was the most amazing sent, it was like violets and forest, mixed together.

"Mate," I growled, at the same time as Mimir and Emer.

"Where do you think they are?" Mimir asked me, "I can't see them,"

"There over there, with a hole heap of supernaturals," Emer says pointing at three girls starring at us sitting under a tree. We all start heading in their direction, and I can't stop staring at my mate in the middle. She was beautiful, short white messy hair, with bright blue eyes.

When we reached the group with our mates, a boy stood in our way, gesturing that he wanted to talk to us, before walking a short distance away to be more private. We followed him reluctantly, I sniffed the air and noticed he was fae.

"Leave," the faerie boy said as soon as we were out of hearing range of our mates. "Leave and don't come back,"

"Why should we, they're our mates," Emer said angrily.

"You will just complicate things, just stay away from them!" The faerie boy says his tone on the verge of annoyance.

"Who are you to tell us what to do with our own mates?" I question him, my voice not betraying the anger and annoyance I feel.

"The prince of the unseelie court, therefore ranks above you," faerie boy says with a hint of hate in his words, though I'm not sure if its at us or the title.

"Weren't you exiled?" Emer asks confused, I stay quiet wanting to know the answer to this question.

"Exiled prince or normal prince, it doesn't matter, I know those girls, and as much as they wish to join our world they just don't have it in them," Faerie boy says, "They're human, don't drag them in when things are starting to go bad, they have nothing to protect them if you all die or you're not there,"

Mimir starts to protest but I stop him knowing faerie boy is right, but that just means we'll never leave their sides. just when I'm about to tell this to faerie boy, I notice our mates looking angry and annoyed, so I back up and let them deal with him. I notice Emer and Mimir step back as well.

"What are you guys doing here?" Faerie boy says shocked when he notices our mates standing there.

"Slade you can't say we can't take care of ourselves, when we can, very well," my mate says angrily to faerie bo- Slade.

"Well, um, what I meant by that was, uhh," Slade says trying unconvincingly to explain what he said without giving away magic.

"And also we rank higher than you, therefore so do our mates," Emer's mate stated.

"But your human, how can you possibly rank higher than me?" Slade says forgetting about his 'not revelling his world of magic' thing. He winced and became quite pale when he realised what he said. He smiled a small weak smile and started to back away.

"Oh Slade, your hair is sticking up," Mimir's mate said pointing to her own head. Fa-Slade looks panicked while flattening his already flat hair, before running off. I stare a little shocked at my and my friends mates, from what Slade was saying I didn't think them to seem to know of our world.

"So you know about mates?" I ask them, they all nodded hesitantly in response. "And about everything else?" I ask And they all nodded again.

"What are your names?" Emer's mate asks us curiously.

"I'm Conall Stevenson, Alpha of the wolves in the White Moon pack," I tell them, hoping my mate sees this as a good thing.

"I'm Emer Ignis, Alpha of the cats in the White Moon pack," Emer tells them, proud that he is an alpha and not Beta like he should be.

"And I'm Mimir Ursus, Alpha of the bears in the White Moon pack," Mimir tells them.

"Nice to meet you all," My mate says smiling, god she has such a beautiful smile.

I hear Emer's mate speak some gibberish, and see my mate and Mimir's nod in response, both seeming to understand what she's saying.

"Well I'm Aella Vita, Goddess of Life," my mate says pointing to herself, "this is Aurora Lunar, Goddess of Protection," she says pointing at Mimir's mate, "and this is Morana Anima, Goddess of death," she finishes pointing at Emer's mate.

I stare at them shocked, my mind processing the information, Aella smiled at my shock at confusion. I see her friends doing the same to their mates, I'm about to ask them why they chose to tell us, when it's clear their friends don't know, when the bell cut my words off before I even started.

"Come on we should get to the assembly," Morana says walking off, Emer starts to follow her like a lost kitten. I fall into step with Aella, Mimir doing the same with Aurora.

I grab Aella's hand, letting the sparks from our contact rush up my arm, and smirk at her gasp when she feels it too. They lead us to a large gymnasium and we take a seat on some of the chairs, next to the group of supernaturals that Aella, Morana and Aurora were sitting with before.

A blonde witch notices the fact that we were all taken now, but her eyes gleam when she sees that the people we were with were her friends. I noticed Slade was sulking on the opposite end of the group, when he noticed we were here he shot glares at Emer, Mimir and me, before ignoring us completely.

"Thanks for trusting us," I whisper in Aella's ear before looking up on the stage where the principle is starting to talk to students about rules, uniforms and things like that.

I know, I know, I haven't updated in a long time, I'm really sorry about that. I had a bit of writers block, and homework, but I'm going to be updating more now.

Hopefully.

Check out my new story 'Random Short Stories', as well as 'Falling for Satan'. Don't forget to look at Salem0123, HoneyCurls, and Jewelsy441's pages, they kept nagging me to finish this and so I think it's only fair to say that their books are awesome and for you to go read them.

I would also like to thank PiratetheAntangonist for making the cover, it's amazing.

Thanks for reading, please vote if vote worthy, and comment on any mistakes I may have made, or just comment to remind me to update.
