Chapter One

Takedo stares towards the back of the group that has just arrived from Japan, staring as the girl is now being torn into by the teacher and an old classmate. You could hear the screams echoing all over the airport as three ambulance EMT's are now starting to get up and stagger into the airport, attacking people as they approach.

"Kaoru, what the hell is going on?" Ichimaru asks as he tries to get his sons attention.

"Um, dad I think we have a problem." Kaoru says as he stares in shock watching some of the people that were killed by the EMT's stand up and try to get passed the partitions in the doors only to keep on bumping into them. They blindly reach out to grab onto something or someone until they hear a noise coming from the sides drawing them towards the sounds. "It seems that we have a bad case of Zombies here."

"What the hell are you talking about Kaoru?" Takeru asks as he takes the phone from his Beta. "Put Takedo on the phone, please."

"Dad, put a bulletin out towards all packs and get Uncle Sakurai on the phone. One of the teachers got sick on the plane and the EMT's took him off before we could disembark, when we got our luggage and went to meet the welcoming committee they were still in front of the entrance to the airport, like they parked there and were loading. I think they did get him loaded but he attacked them." He signaled some warriors to ward off the zombies from every one of them and they stood guard around the whole group from the school. "The thing is, dad, when they killed the others they didn't stay down like they should have. They stood up and are doing the same thing as the teacher. They are eating those that cannot protect themselves."

"Can you contain the threat?" Takeru asks as him and everyone else is worried about what is going on. He watches as Ichimaru turns the TV onto the global news station that is now showing two different stories than what his son is telling him.

"Not from what I can see, some of the ones that have been bitten ran from the airport and end up either falling dead or are getting hit by cars leaving the airport. I don't believe that any of them are realizing what they are doing by leaving and not containing the issue." He looks at his mate who stared in horror at what is going on around her.

"Son, what is your mates' name?" Takeru asks Takedo. This turns his mates' attention towards him and she smiles at him.

"My name is Ayaela Lightweather, Alpha Takeru," she says as she pulls out her own phone.

"So, you are the daughter of the Head of Council of America?" He asks and she nods with a hum.

"Yup, and this is now an international problem since some of these people that are being infected will probably be getting on planes. I need to notify my father immediately." She says as she dials a number into the phone. "Emergency line, Doris."

"Affirmative, Ayaela." The woman says as she puts every council member on the line. "Ready to go my dear."

"We have a crisis starting here at the international airport in Washington DC; an infected passenger has died and went zombie on us. So far there are casualties that range under a hundred but I expect that there will be more before the night is over with. Please notify all packs in America and then work on notifying all the councils of the crisis," when she finished saying this some human's are stopping to stare at her as if she has lost her minds. "I believe we need to issue this as a code red crisis everyone. Do not worry about the humans finding us out because I believe there might be a solution for us to get through this crisis."
