Chapter Three
They all reached the lineup of cars that the TIC's kids had ready for all, even though they will probably need to accommodate some more since they have more people than they figured they would. Every single car was an SUV that could hold those that have to stay shifted in the back, everyone grinned when they saw that they were brand new cars and all had a full tank of gas.
"There is a tank of gas here to gas it up for those that need it, I guess they make sure that the cars are well taken care of while here in the lots. I will need a few of you to come with me since we should need about four more cars to be on the safe side." Ichijou said as he looked at a few of the warriors who were standing there waiting for instructions. They agreed and started to follow him as he and his sister take off with mischievous grins on their faces.
"I think they enjoy this so much," Ayaela said as she watched the twins rush off with a few warriors towards the nicer cars down the line. "Will they fill up the tanks as well?"
"Who do you think filled these up?" Kaoru asks her as he runs his hands over the hood of the SUV he plans to drive.
"You do know that I or my warriors will be leading the way, right?" She asks the two friends who start pouting. "At least until you guys realize which side of the damn road to drive on."
"Okay, fair enough," Takedo says as the other warriors in his pack grin widely at her, knowing she's in the right on this but doesn't think that Takedo will let it go without a little teasing. "I will drive at least one part of the journey."
"Everyone that knows how to will at least at one point until we get there," she tells him with a wry smile. "Now, while we are waiting on them, I want each and every one of you to please go and see what exactly you all have in your vehicles and keep a list. We will only have one vehicle that will be transporting goods and it will be accommodated as we get down the road," she tells everyone who starts to go and search all of the cars.

They finally got all of the cars they need and had a small group go and get some snacks and drinks for everyone to take with them until they could find a truck or two to carry food and drinks. They knew that they would eventually have to remove blocked traffic to get to the freeway where it will be a straight path to North Carolina, but they didn't realize how much they would have to move before reaching there. It seemed like every road was blocked by the Army and police but are now deserted as the bodies dropped where they died or zombies walking all around.
Even though they agreed not to shoot off any guns or firearms they still had some in each vehicle so that if they needed it they would use it. Ayaela took the wheel first with Takedo sitting next to her as they slowly made their way on the road out of the airport, not having to move as many vehicles as they thought when they saw a swarm of zombies being attacked by what looks like a ton of wild animals. She pulls to a stop twenty-five feet away from the massacre that is taking place as one male stands straight up to transform into an Ursus (Man/Bear). He saw them and growls loudly to bring all of the zombies to him and he attacks him with unusually sized claws that would rival the ancient dinosaurs.
"Wow, a royal bear here in the USA, I could have sworn that they decided to move to places like Russia," Takedo said as he opens his door and shifts full Lycan form to help the male out. The male grins wickedly and swipes five at one time, taking their heads off or slashing beyond any means. "Thanks, friend, now let's get this show on the road."
"With pleasure," he says with an English accent as he and everyone around starts attacking in a fury. Once everything was done they shift back and a burly man takes the bears place with a grin on his face. "You must be the ones we need to escort to HQ in Cherokee."
