Chapter Five

A dark skinned figure is looking out of her window, staring out at the bright sky as it radiates light from the lines stretching along the side of her neck to travel down her limbs and her abdomen. Try as she might, she still saw difficult nights since every time she closes her eyes the visions of helpless victims swarm her brain making it almost impossible to even get some sleep. The latest vision was of a heart breaking, experience for a male as he had to shift just to tear the head off of his mate when she tried to eat him as a zombie.

His heart broke so she looked up at the sky and saw the North Star dimly showing that night is going to approach soon. This means that she will be changing, yet again and still has to get used to it. She finds it difficult to being able to figure out a way for her to at least have her normal looks back so that when she goes out of their castle that reaches the sky, in Paris. She wants to be able to walk amongst the other people, both non and human alike without screams and fear radiating from their pores.

She saw a bright colored bird landing right in front of her and smiles as he lifts his head and he hops onto the palm of her hand to eat the small amount of seeds that she holds for him. It seems that the animals are not afraid of her; they realize she will not hurt them but for those that even have a small amount of humanity in them, and her appearance brings fear instantly.

She smiles as the bird stops eating just to look up into her eyes and he starts singing a song for her causing her smile to change her colors on her body, showing that she's in fact full of joy at this moment. She runs her finger alongside his neck and he shivers in pleasure of her touch. "Okay, little one, it is time for me and my fellow Reapers to leave our prison to see if we can make it out there to find those that will not be scared of us." The bird looked at her like he understood and flew off to join his companion that is waiting patiently for him to come back.

"Noriko-hime, it is time for us to leave," a gentle but deep voice sounds out as he waits behind her patiently, his colors radiating both fear, concern and joy at leaving the building that seems like a prison to its inhabitants.

"I know, Kaname, will you be so kind as to ask the caretakers to make sure that the whole building is closed until the cleaning is finished? I believe that this hotel will fill up in no time by the time they open back up again. Even if it's not by paying customers, they should be able to see and protect those that come," she says as she leans down to grab her bag but a hand stops her.

"Here, princess, I'll grab your bags so that we can go to the roof and catch our helicopter." He grabs her bag and hoisted not only hers but a few others as well, ones that confuses her since it's making his muscles ripple beneath his dark but striped skin. "The others are already waiting at the plane that will take us to America, princess. Norika has taken them inside so that they will not be seen by anyone that is going to fear them. I believe that it will be a safe flight for us now."

"Then let us head out, dear sir," she tells him with a gentle smile on her face.

Blue eyes peer out into the dark alleyway, watching as a figure approaches with a woman on his arm. The man pushes the woman against the wall and deeply kisses her as his hand roams up and down her body. The woman's voluptuous body curves back, arching her spine as she feels pleasure from the man's kisses. What she didn't see, is the blood red aura coming from the man, nor the bright shining of his red eyes as his teeth elongate, all she felt was the bite to her neck, which brought her pleasure, bringing a moan to break past her lips.
