"you did save me after all." madison said in a giggle.

"you brought him back?" I say putting our noses together.

"yes. I am the next supreme after all."

"kyle did you hear me? hey, did you?" I say fluffing his hair.

"yes. you really- care." he said tearing up.

I touch the waring scars on his arms.

"yes, yes I do." I said kissing his lips.

his eyes widened. then they closed, and kissed back.

"come on love birds, it's lunch." madison said smiling.

"I-I-i'm not gonna go." I said looking down.

"why?" kyle said with fear in his eyes.

"because, they all think I killed someone." I say holding his hands.

"no. please don't leave me." he said with a tear coming out of each eye.

"no no no no, I-I-I won't." I said brushing the tears away. then a huge smile stretched his face.

madison sighed. "i'll tell them what actually happened." she said looking down.

I glance at her. "what? why?" I ask.

"because." she said walking down stairs.

"we'll wait a couple minutes to go down. we have to give her time to explain." I said softly.

"okay." he said smiling.

I lay down and he cuddles into me.

"you can't leave me again." he said playing with my hair.

"you can't leave me again either." I say looking up at him.

"I was so alone." he said in my ear.

"me too." I say softly.

I heard cordelia come up the stairs. "i'm sorry." she said.

I look up at her. "it's okay." I said cuddling into kyle more.

"wanna come down? and eat?" she said sitting at the bottom of the bed.

"yeah. let's go, kyle." I say as I tap his shoulder to let him know that, he can get up.

I walk downstairs, as kyle follows.

"i'm tired." he said with a yawn.

"me too." I say smiling at him.

"i'm sad." he said holding my hand.

"me too." I say squeezing it tighter.

"I don't want to." kyle said stopping halfway down the stair case.

"why?" I ask.

"because I don't. it's madison. she's gonna try to-"

"it's gonna be okay." I say interrupting.

"I-I don't want to see her be mean to you anymore." he said snuggling into my arm.

"I can take it." I said kissing his cheek.

he nods, and makes his way down the stairs behind me.

I sat next to queenie and made sure kyle sat next to me, not close to madison.

"mac n cheese, apples, milk, and bacon?" I say looking at my plate.

"I know, weird combination, right?" murtle said giggling.

"it's the only thing we can afford right now." cordelia said walking down the stairs.

"wait, what!?" madison said waving her hands in the air.

"I mean, we have me, murtle, madison, queenie, misty, nan, zoe, kyle, and marrie under this roof. that's 9 people." she said, pointing her finger around counting each person.

"don't you have fiona's money?" queenie asked.

"she was a million air." nan said smiling at me.

"who's fiona?" I ask looking around to everyone.

it got silent for a second. I didn't know why.

"she was my mother. perhaps the old supreme." cordelia said. "she died from- cancer. but I formed stronger, and i'm the new supreme."

I looked at kyle. "i'm not so hungry." I say.

"you seem depressed, my deer." murtle said grabbing my hand from across the table.

I look down. I took a deep breath.

"yeah. maybe I am." I say getting up as I push my chair in.

kyle looked at me with fear and regret in his eyes. "kyle." I say holding his hands.

"this is about you not me. are you hungry?" I say looking into his eyes.

"no." he said pushing his chair in too.

I hold his hands as I walk upstairs.

I lay in my bed. "kyle. you should go in your bed." I said touching his shoulder.

"okay..are you- mad?" he asked frowning.

"no, i'm just tired. and you know I move around a lot when I sleep." I said looking down with a nervous giggle.

"I don't mind. I love you anyway. even if you slept like a whale." he said giggling.

I lay my head on his shoulder.

"I love you. a lot, kyle." I said laying down.

he lay down too. I made a spoon, him being the small one.

"I love you, too." he said softly.

then, I drifted off to sleep, knowing that....someone loves me. a lot.

morning
i woke up to kyle staring at me.

"kyle-uh—hey!" I said looking at him.

then I see madison kissing his neck.

kyle started crying softly and quietly.

"madison! enough!" I said pulling kyle tours me.

I stand up.

I slap her cheek.

then she runs off whining.

I kiss kyles lips. "it's all gonna be okay." I say looking into his eyes.
