5 years later..
"Hey sis! Did you see my socks?"
"Sis, where is my lunch?"
"Sis....."
Every morning was the same. The chaotic scenes was a display of their happiness since the gloomy episode of their life.
Ryan stood still watching the drama unfolded in front of him while he flashed back that day five years ago...
.......................................................................
"Say elder brother, what do you we should do about those kids?" one of his aunt asked.
That time his hand just one step before reaching the door knob of his house. Frozed, he perked his ears listening to the coversation inside.
"What do you think we should do? Do you want to keep them? If you want just take them all but this house, I'll take them since I am the oldest," a man sounding from the inside.
His heart shook a little. This was his most trusted uncle, but why..? Slowly his lowered his hand and kept it on his side. He clenched his hands tightly until his knuckles was white.
Still, he wait for someone inside to stand for them. He sincerely hoped that their relatives will kept them.
But....
"Then, how about this, we'll take one each of the siblings and shared their inheritances among us. They wouldn't know about this. When they grow up, surely those inheritances still belong to us."
Ryan face was paled. He didn't believed this. All this while, all of his relatives were eyeing their money. His eyes were redden from anger and sad.
But suddenly, a warm hand reach out and grabbed his clenched hand. Ryan look up and saw that still unfamiliar face that was giving them a lift. She smiled warmly to her and reach out to open that closed door. All of the people inside were stunned and slowly the atmosphere became awkward.
Slowly, Ryan was dragged inside. Out of nowhere, he found strength in the warm hand that was holding his hand. He felt that, if they were in this hand, they will be fine.
"Hello, my name is Aislynn. I was a distant relatives of the late Madam White. I am here to settle a little business. Am I disturbing?" the melodious voice suddenly rang out.
Sure enough the old raccoons was startled. Not to say them, even Ryan was stunned by this words.
'A distant relative? How come mom never said a word about it?'
"No, no. What can we do for you?" his eldest uncle asked, flustered.
"Nothing much but I heard that Madam White had four children but I only saw three. Where the other one?" Aislynn slowly probing.
"My little brother might be upstairs. I'll go get him," Ryan slowly make way to the upstairs.
Aislynn nodded then slowly she scanned the people in front of her.
' So here are the so called relatives of those little brats.'
There stood a slightly old man, age about 40-50. Aislynn guessed that this must be the eldest son as he wore an arrogant aura claiming his own base . Then next to him, sat a woman aged around him. Look slightly intimate to him, surely his wife. Sitting on the next sofa was a woman, whose face look quite pleased to the eyes with she took as her husband. Far to the end were two other persons, one man and one woman. For sure those two people were their younger siblings. But they didn't concealed in their eyes was the disdain light that still lingering upon seeing the siblings entered the room just now.
