Their Overprotective Sister

No family

  "Ermm,who is this Brian?"

"The man who manages this building. He is from another company that joint this project too. It pity that the company is good but the one who runs the project is a rotten person," Mark said.

From the first time he met this Brian, he was filled with disgust. This Brian acts like he was the best but cannot hide the greedy nature in his blood. He always swindles and embezzles his company fund but there is nothing Mark can do for he has no evidences. Now that things are going this way, its makes easier for him to take actions against him.

" Lets called the police. They will mot get away with this. If I was not equipped with martials, I guess its the end for me now."

The men heard it and got desperate. They thought that they can get away after the confession. One man got agitated and run forward and pushed Aislynn and Mark. They caught off guard but Aislynn manage to push Mark aside. Aislynn lost he footing and get free fall of the the building. She was a bit lucky that they only reached second floor of the new building. When those men saw this, they frantically ran. Mark quickly rushed towards Aislynn.

She passed out but the was blood on her. Mark doesn't dare to pick her up. Their phone didn't work because the building was far in the remote side of the site. The site already on the remote place for they plan to build an escaping gateway from busy city life. He look around and see a worker not far away and shouted to call the ambulance.
 
  Two hours later.

Since their site was a bit far from main road,it tooks almost an hour for the ambulance to go to the site. Mark stayed with Aislynn until she got into the hospital. He called the HQ to inform the incidents and asked for assistance to take care of the issues at the site while he stay at the hospital.
 
  Aislynn quickly wheeled to the emergency room. Mark pacing outside. He was worried sick. During the fight, he didn't know how much she was hurt and now with the injuries from the falls, she might get a few broken bones. When he saw Aislynn was lying in the pool blood, his heart was pricked.

  In these past months, he never thought that the girl will slowly wormed her way into his heart. He, a man in almost fifties took her as a daughter. He once asked her about her family but saw the reluctance in her eyes.  He assume that she has no family.

  "Hi honey. Remember the girl I told you before? Yes, yes, that girl. She falls from building today. Can you makes her some porridge? I guess she was alone. Yes, come here... Still not out.. Okay,hurry up."

He keep pacing outside while waiting for his wife. Both he and his wife are fond of this girl. He likes her tenacious and hard work. He never met any other girl of her ages that willing to go through harships as her. Even his daughter. He has one daughter and two sons. Her daughter still in her teen years. He plan to let his family meet this wonderful young woman in near future but it seems that the plan can be push aside for now.

Suddenly, the door open.

  "How was the patient doc? Is she okay?"

"The patient is stabil. She got two broken fingers, one cracked rib, maybe a mild concussion and her ankle was sprained. Other than that, she got mild injuries. We'll moved her to the ward. You can visit her after this."

After a while, his wife Sandra arrived. She looks younger than Mark with her petite and small figure.

"Where is she? The girl,where is she? Is she okay?"

  "Yes but she has a few broken and fracture bones, skin scratches and mild concussion. They are transferring her to normal ward. Wait for a while."

" What?! That much? Oh poor girl. Have you inform her family?"

"I think she has no family. I've checked her phone. She has no other contacts except the one for works."

" Well, we'll just wait and see if there any person that will come looking for her."

But what they don't know is, there is no one will come for her. Even though she had taken care of four kids but it seems it didn't enough.

After a while, the sleeping Aislynn is watched by the husband and wife. She has bandages in two of her finger,one on her ankle and one on her head. On other parts,she has few plaster. Her face was bruised on the cheeck,it must be from the fight. They silently sit and wait for her to come around.

After one night, she opened her eyes.
