Their Overprotective Sister

    "Woman, are you crazy? From the first day I saw her, I've always wanted to have a daughter like her. Now that the heaven have give me the chance, you think I'll let her go? Let me tell you, in your dream! Hehe, dear daughter, come call me dad. Hurry call me dad," the beaming man came closed for the group hug.

However clever she is, she was totally lost in this kind of situation.

  'What happen?'

  'Who is she?'
   
  'Where is she?'

    At the hospital entrance, a girl with a younger boy was walking urgently and suddenly she bumped into another young man.

   "What the..? I'm sorry, I was in hurry. Wait a minute. Its that you Jack? What are you doing here?"

   There was a lot of things in his hand including a bag of clothes.

  'Is someone from our family hurts?'

  "Amy? What are you doing here?"

  "Hey, I asked you first okay."

  "Hahahaha.. Sorry. I'm just sending some necessities for my boss. She met an accident at the site. My boss, the one I told you before. Remember?"

  Amy's mind whirring as she tried to remember which boss that he mention for he had quite a lot of boss to begin with before settling to the curent one.

  "The one that works like crazy like she was demon from hell that will lashed out to anyone who came with stupid ideas, remember?" seeing his cousin frown so much that can hold a coin, he kindly help her.

  "Haa yes! I remember her. I bet none of the person she showered her love pop up, isnt?"

  When she thought of her cousin story about the girl, her heart wince in pain. That girl, in her prime age painstakingly took up a responsibility akin a single parent raised four kids on her own. But only to be casted aside once they were in legal age. After a little bit of digging, an old say win all, blood is sure thicker than the water. She couldnt imagine the efforts she put to take and raise strangers as her own. She look down at her brother standing by her side and let out a heavy sigh.

  'Taking care of this devil for a day feels like years to me. She single handedly raised four children without taking anything was way beyond my league.'

  But despite that, she didnt retaliate or throwing tantrum. She just quietly moved aside and let those ungrateful kids on their own but silently protecting them by the side. She really want to meet the person with heart big enough to foster abondoned kids only to be cast aside.

  "Hey Amy! Are you still here?"

  "What? Yes, yes. I remember her. Is she still here? I would like to meet her, to encourage, give her big a hug and praise her that she done well. But I need to go to my father first. He too met an accident at the site. "   

  " Uncle is here too? Well then, lets go together."

  Both of them walked to the ward and was presented with the scene where the couple was arguing about the girl on the bed. The girl just blinked her eyes blankly as when she saw Jack, it was as if she saw her last straw of life. Her eyes desperately begging for help.

  Both Amy and Jack were amused by her silent pleading that they both laughing at the door.

  "Mom, dad."
  "Boss."

  Both said at the same time as Amy flipped her head to Jack asking is that girl that both her parents were trying to rope in as a daughter was the same girl that Mark had been telling her about. The poor and lonely girl who seek a tiny bit of familial love.

  Jack just nodded his head. With that as a signal, she walked to the bed silently scrutinising the girl. Her eyes held silent pleading but beyond that she saw a slowly crumbling girl who trying hard to hold herself together. Beside that, she never met someone with eyes so pure and clean like her. So clean that she was sure she saw her reflection in those eyes. Her yearning and longing was not without notice especially after both of her parents intention. But she still holding it up for some reason that she didnt know.

  Beside that, this girl destroyed the image she had in her mind for her. Amy was picturing a girl with tough demeanor, strong and had body like a builder as she supposed to raise kids. But this girl sure looks like just finished college with fresh look.
 
  "Mom,dad. If you are serious about this, then hurry up. I want to have a new sister that is so pure and cute so much that I want to keep her away from the world. She's so cute that i can put her in my pocket," Amy plead as she put Aislynn in a tight hug.

  Aislynn felt so awkward but there was no way she hate hug for she was longing a hug like this for so long, the one that give her warmth that she desperately tried to grab. She often envy those people who easily got hugs from left and right. Now that the things she long for was presented right on her lap make her feel so unreal that it might be a dream.

  "Can't breath. Its a little tight here."

  "Oh I'm sorry dear sister. My name is Amy and I am your new sister," Amy loosen her hug but still in an almost bone crushing one.

   But, Aislynn fall silent. She look so forlorn but none of them making any sound. Although among them only Jack was might the only one who truly know her story, but they still give her some space to think as they more or less knew what was in her mind.

  After a long while, Aislynn asked something that make the people stood frozen.

  "Wont I be a pest in your family then? I'll be the one who they say a homewrecker that disturb the harmony of one family? The one who will suck dry all the love in the family, leaving none to the family itself? I was labelled as a bad star that bring calamities to the people who I came close with. Its enough for the other family but I really dont want to put yours in calamities too Jack." 
 
  "I really love and appreciate your intention but I really afraid that one day you guys might throw me aside after you finds flaws in me. I had enough rejection and one more might drive me crazy, okay?"
