Chapter 45 : Gone

Veronica's POV

What happened has happened. There's no use thinking about it now. I walked down the stairs where people were staring at me.

Cameron : "There's my girl looking like a princess."

I faked my smile.

Paul : "So , let's get to the best part of tonight!"

People were cheering. 

Cameron : "My dear Roni , I admired you since the first day I met you. You weren't like any of the girls I met. You were beautiful and ravishing. I love you , I will love you forever. Will you marry me?"

I know this is not fair for Aaron but I won't break Cameron's heart like I did to Aaron. 

Veronica : "I love you , so it's a yes."

Vanessa : "Isn't that so romantic?

Kian : "Indeed. You want to know what I will do if we are getting engaged?"

Vanessa : "Tell me."

Kian : "I will kidnap you and marry you at a jungle."

Vanessa : "Annoying!"

They were so perfect. My life isn't anything like Nessa's now. She doesn't have two choices at least. People were having their dinner and I went outside for some fresh air.

Ethan : "Hey ,Gorgeous!"

Veronica : "Ethan! What the hell are you doing here?!"

Ethan : "Should I let go my love to another jerk? No way!"

Veronica : "He's not."

Ethan : "I don't care."

He came closer and placed a cloth on my face. After that , everything went black.

Mariah's POV

I was quite disappointed that they got engaged. I was going to leave when I saw Roni and Ethan outside. He was carrying her to his car. Crap! I need help. I don't know why but I called Aaron.

Mariah : "Aaron , Emergency!"

Aaron : "Are you hurt?!"

Mariah : "Shut up and come to the Merrell's."

Aaron : "Why the hell are you there?!!"

Mariah : "Aaron!"

Aaron : "I'm not coming there!"

Mariah : "I'm not talking to you anymore."

It was a big mistake calling him. I ran to Nessa and told her what happened.

Vanessa : "Shit! We need to find her!"

Mariah : "I called Aaron."

Vanessa : "You did what?!"

Mariah : "Don't worry , he's not coming."

Aaron : "I'm here."

Mariah & Vanessa : "Aaron!?"

Aaron : "Is there a party here?"

Vanessa : "Roni got engaged."

Aaron : "You called me for this?!"

Mariah : "No , Ethan kidnapped Roni!"

Aaron : "He did what?!"

Vanessa : "I have an idea."

Veronica's POV

The moment I opened my eyes I was at a house. 

Ethan : "Darling , you woke."

Veronica : "Leave me!"

Ethan : "Baby , I love you , I want you."

Veronica : "Well , I don't want you , player."

Ethan : "So , you found out about me."

Veronica : "The day after we broke up."

Ethan : "Listen , since we dated I've changed. I'm not that person anymore."

Veronica : "Please leave me!"

Aaron : "Leave her , Ethan!"

Veronica : "Aaron?!"

I saw Aaron and Cameron. They came for me. Aaron came for me.

Ethan : "Wow , ex-boyfriend and fiancee?!"

Aaron punched Ethan's face which made his nose bleed. Cameron help me to untie me. Aaron kept hitting Ethan until I ran to stop him.

Veronica : "Enough!"

He looked at me. That eyes.

Cameron : "Are you okay? You should have told me you were going outside!"

Veronica : "I'm sorry."

He came and hug me. It was quite awkward infront of Aaron.

Cameron : "It's okay , I love you. I need to talk to you alone."

Veronica : "Okay."

Aaron went out leaving us alone.
