chapter one - life

In the far distance you start to hear a faint beeping, soon it becomes even louder and louder. You slowly lift your eyelids to look at the contraption that disturbed you beauty sleep. You slowly sank into the realisation that it was actually your alarm clock. "Phew no one had to die today " you chuckled at your own humour. You decided to get out of your warm fluffy bed even though, you were tempted to stay there. You sat up, stretched and yawned. You got up and went towards the window to light up your blue pastel room. You go to grab the curtain and open them. There's a reflection in the window, it was your own. You look closely into the reflection and you see purple cat ears with a scar that was across your fluffy cat ears and your tail wrapped around your arm becoming disappointed with the way you look you hide your ears and tail by just thinking of it.

Flashback

Ever since you were little you had you ears and tail but no one knew of them other than your "mother" and "father" that threatened you and abused you, with these actions you became someone with little to no emotion, the only people you trusted became the people that resent you. "MONSTER GET AWAY FROM ME " your mother screamed at you while throwing a glass at you. The glass smashed against the wall and came flying back and scraped your cat ears leaving a part of your ear missing. You clutch your ear in pure agony and pain. Blood, there was lots of it. Your ear hurt so much you began to cry " m..m..mummy....I...it....h..*hic*...hurts" your mother looked at you with a horrifying glare one of which that could kill. Your eyes shrink and you back away from her by running up the stairs becoming safe in your room.

Few hours later

"HOW COULD WE HAVE MADE A DEVIL CHILD, SHE'S A CAT, A FUCKING CAT " your mother screamed at your dad. "how has our wonderful daughter turned into something so hideous" your dad said in an angered tone. Your parents continued to shout at each other. With those words flouting around your mind like an endless cycle. You began to plan your escape you would either climb out the window or run down the stairs and out the front door but you would have to go past your angered parents that are still cursing towards each other. You choose the more dangerous path as going towards your mum and dad could cause your plan to fail. You escape out the window and don't look back.

Flashback finished

Luckily you could hide your ears just by will alone as you did want anyone to find out about your secret. If you became to emotional your ears and tail will appear and will give away everything that you worked so hard to protect. You struggled at the beginning about hiding everything but then began to get used to it but everyday that passes by you become less and less human. You became robot at times. Sometimes you can't even recognize yourself by the way you act but it was all worth it as you have a loving family.

Your mum comes knocking on your door bringing you out of thought and begins to explain why you need to get up and ready as you need to go to work as it is already quiet late. You smile and hug her "thanks for always being there for me, I'll get ready now " with that you gave her a kiss on your cheek and she walked out the room preparing breakfast for the family. Your mum and dad may not be your real mum and dad but they treat you as their daughter. With that thought in your mind you feel warmness fill you and you begin to smile more and you go and get ready.

First you get your clothes ready and then begin to make your way to the bathroom where you have a quick shower. And yes I know crazy a cat having a shower but I kinda enjoyed it as I loved the warm water that would trickle down my back giving me a sense of safeness. After the shower you begin to get dressed.

You wear black leggings and a t-shirt that fits you perfectly that grabs every single curve within the right place. Being satisfied that your clothes look nice you go on to do your hair and make up and by that I mean brush your hair and put on eyeshadow and mascara. With you look and outfit complete you head down stairs towards the kitchen.
