The Noble Adventures

chapter 8: multiplayer

Noble team had received orders to fight against each other in a battle royale type style to which they all groaned and complained except six the rookie hadn't said much during his time on the team which they all had at least spoke to him only for the conversation to last a few minutes Kat and Emile had the longest talk with six but it was only about 10 minutes

Holland: alright noble you are to eliminate each other in an urban environment then you can..........where is noble six

Everyone then turned to look at where their newest member was standing only a few seconds ago

Carter: I guess he couldn't wait

Carter then shook his head before they began to which jun had set up on a rooftop while Jorge walked below jun was just about to shoot jorges helmet off until he noticed a shimmer then it happened so fast Jorge fell to his knees and with six jumping up he stomped onto his back there was a large thud as six looked at Jorge

Six: sorry Jorge

Jorge then stayed down

Jorge: that'll hurt in the morning

Jun then saw the newest member disappear then Holland showed a screen displaying each of them with Jorge with a red X across him and a replay of how he lost

Holland: noble five has been defeated

Jun: watch out six is using his active camouflage but it's tweaked I can't see when he moves

Kat: wait isn't technology my thing?

Emile: should we team up?

Carter: good idea alright noble regroup with Jun then we can formulate a pla.....shi-.....

Everyone listened as carter ran trying to outrun six Kat then saw him but before she could call out he was grabbed and thrown into a wall then six used his DMR as a club and carter fell unconscious

Six: sorry carter

Holland: noble leader and noble five are out good luck everyone

Kat then snuck to where jun watched carter fall then Emile showed up

Jun: Emile guard the door,Kat use your thermal to help me spot him

Both Emile and Kat nodded as they did however a certain rookie aimed his DMR at jun then at Kat then finally Emile he then slid down and used the force of the drop to smash through Emiles shields and rolled with him down the stairs he then looked up to see Kat look back

Six: sorry Emile

Emile: I swear you ain't normal six

Emile then laid against the wall he laughed and grunted as six pat his shoulder then disappeared from sight sneaking up on Jun he then tossed the marksman off the roof to which he dropped onto him Jun laid still for a couple seconds before realizing what happened he then rolled to the side and groaned

Six: sorry Jun

Jun then looked at six before trying to speak

Jun: I....hate you.....so much right now

Jun laughed as well before noticing the board

Holland: noble two vs noble six good luck you two

Kat then looked around then landed on what happened then there was a click she turned around then she saw the recruit standing right in front of her

Kat: you know lieutenant I bet you just wanted us to have some 'alone time'

Six then tilted his head in confusion she then smirked under her helmet before taking hers off and looking into his black visor

Kat: who knows lieutenant you might want 'more' she said swaying her hips as she walked closer six put his pistol away just so he wouldn't hit her she then smirked

Kat: I've got him

As she thought she had him he charged her she then swiped his helmet as she did that she grabbed his helmet off she looked shocked to see his actual face he had a few scars but he had deep brown eyes and dark brown hair it was cut short but she could see where it grew a bit she then walked forward and planted a kiss on his lips before anything else she could do he picked her up and brought her almost to the ground then a click was heard

Kat: touché

Six: I aim to please

Meanwhile Holland and the rest of noble team stood in shock at what they just saw

Carter: I think six won

Holland: I agree but she kissed him you do know she's falling for him right?

Carter: I don't have a problem with it

Emile: aww look at them it seems like yesterday he joined

Jorge: uh yesterday he DID join

Emile: oh well still i think if we mention this they'll kill us

Everyone nodded and Holland announced that six won they all went to rest but Kat sighed dreaming about her love interest the newest member was far from human she knew that but she also know that he felt the same he just didn't know it yet
