[72] Narrative 25

After finishing her work, she headed home at 9pm. She sigh when she check her phone. She head straight to bus station and waited for her bus to arrive and went home and sleep as she enter her room.

She didn't talk just greeted her parents and her two sisters with a smile.

Mina on the other hand, after talking to Bambam she went together with her members, going home together.

"Where did you go?" Sana asked, she force to sounded soft like she always does. But after hearing that the latter is busy that will go to somewhere and really forgot about the date today. An important for every couple. 

"Rooftop. And take some fresh air" She said. Well that's true. She went there for an hour and went down then she met Bambam when she was on the way to the dance studio to get her things. 

Sana and Momo nodded, not quite satisfied on the latter's answer.

They three didn't talk nor open another conversation while on the way to their dorm. Sana was very disappointed on Mina. Knowing about the spreading rumors about her and Bambam and she don't have no intention to tell the latter is adding another layer of disappointing.

  As they went home. Sana and Momo prepared some snacks to be eaten for midnight snacks. 

Mina in the other hand was busy taking a bath and after she does, she join the two and sat beside Sana while watching some late night movie.

Mina was now checking her mail, checking if she have message from Chaeyoung. She frown a little, it was new for her that the latter didn't message her even a single hi, she didn't receive. 

"Why does Chaengie didn't message me?" She mumbled that able to heard by Sana and Momo. The two didn't speak nor even pay attention to her.

"Well, maybe she's tired and sleep early" She said being positive. Well, the truth is, she felt a light sting in her heart, knowing that the latter didn't chat her, asking if she's ok or not. It was new for her. 

She shrugged right after and try to focus on the movie they are watching. But some part of her keep checking her phone hoping that the latter send her a goodnight message.

Chaeyoung flutter her eyes open and sat up. Didn't check the time and headed straight to the bathroom. Taking a bath and prepared to go to work, since it was sunday she don't have a class. 

After taking a bath, she wear her blue jeans, white shirt and knitted sweater and a jacket. She grab her bag and phone.

"Good morning" She greeted as she went out and see her family at the dining area, eating breakfast. 

"Good morning. Have some breakfast" Nayeon said while gesturing to sat beside her sisters. 

She shook her head and flash a smile before putting her white sneakers. "I need to go now. I'm kinda late" She went to them and kiss Nayeon's and Jeongyeon's cheek and pats her sister's head before going out.

Nayeon sigh, seeing Chaeyoung for two weeks like that is making her sad. Jeongyeon who was beside her, pats her back softly. "Does she knows?" Nayeon asked her sister who's eating. 

Dahyun look at Tzuyu. "I think she knows already" Making a guess. Nayeon nodded and continue eating. She was pertaining about the rumors spreading about Mina and Bambam.

And yes, she already knows just last night. All she can do is just to let the rumors die down and let the truth lingers first before believing things. 

What will she do if the rumors is true? She don't know what to do anymore. May she can't handle the pain that it will cause. And she don't know if she will continue their relationship. In this time their relationship is falling apart now. 

She cried last night. For her, celebrating monthsary is necessary for her. It maybe her first time entering relationship, but dreaming about those kind of things is somewhat she wish to have. Doing it like a normal couple do, is what she dream of. 

As she enter the company building, she saw some reporters gather around the hallway. She took a peek to what is happening. She saw JYP surrounded by the reporters. 

Actually after she read the article about Mina and her co-idol star rumored to be dating. It all began with a simple selca with Bambam that spread like a wild fire on the internet. 

She sigh and leave the commotion and headed to her real intention why she is here.

As the elevator open, she step in and close it. She was alone riding it. She step out and went to the studio room and began working.

Chaeyoung spend her break time at the rooftop again, feeling the balance weather touches her skin. She close her eyes when the wind blew to her direction. She open her eyes and saw the beautiful building of the city that is beautifully carve in perfect shape. 

Her phone beep continuously. She check it and receive a lot of message from Tzuyu and Dahyun and some are from Momo and Sana and Mina. 

Then a notification popped up on her screen. She open it and smile after reading. 

"I knew it" She mumbled while smiling. She took a sip on her coffee, feeling the warm it brings her to her body. 

Later after, he phone rung indicating someone is calling. She check the caller and answer it.

"Yes?"

["Where are you?"] Tzuyu asked worriedly. Chaeyoung roam her eyes on the city below her and smile.

"At the company's rooftop"

["wHAT?"] Chaeyoung chuckled.

"Chill, I not going to jump or something. I'm just taking a break" She giggled again. She also heard a sigh if relief from the other line. 

["Do you perhaps... heard the news?"] Chaeyoung went silent. She bit her lips first.

"Yeah"

["Are you o-"]

"Don't ask me when you already know I am not" She said in flat tone. Sadness was evident to her voice. "I'll hung up now" She didn't wait for her to answer and end the phone call.

She sigh again and rest herself at the bar steel and close her eyes. 

Floods of doubtfulness and questions clouded her mind right now. She don't know if she can focus on her work now. She don't know.

Again, her phone rung and she check the ID caller. She smile bitterly. 

She don't know if she will answer it or not.

She decided not. After Mina calling her for 5th time already. She send a message. Asking where she was right now. Afraid if she already know about the news. 

Chaeyoung replied;
