[86] Narrative 29

Mina enter the Soul Cafe which is located outside the JYP building. She immediately hide herself using maskers and cap. She sat on the empty chair and patiently wait for Yuta. The boy said he's on the way.

She sigh when she look at her phone, seeing no message from Chaeyoung. Though they are just working in the same building but she felt they are far on each other's love. She admitted that she's the one who's the fault here but, she really can't stop herself being jealous.

Now that she saw some of Chaeyoung's posts on her social media accounts, seeing her enjoying and happy when hanging out with her friends, makes her heart hurt. It should be her, the one who's there for Chaeyoung when they need to bond outside, going in amusement park and so on.

She sigh again when she saw Yuta wearing a cap. She nod a little, gesturing to seat near her. 

"Hi" Yuta awkwardly greeted Mina. Mina greeted back "Hi" Yuta cleared his throat to break the awkward silent. He really miss the girl, he wanted to hug her and do things they always does.

But things are now complicated. The reason why Mina and Yuta break up, Mina debuted in Japan under JYP and following the regulation, 3 year dating ban. They really love each other, to the point their relationship long for 2 years.

Yuta as a nice guy, he let go of Mina in order for her dream, her happiness was his first priority. Though it was hard for her and him but he let go, nonetheless. 

And now, will Mina turn down Yuta for Chaeyoung? Or turn down Chaeyoung for Yuta?

Mina don't know if she still love the guy. It's been 3 years and she have someone now in her hear. But does she love Chaeyoung, like the way she love the guy before? 

"So ahm, let's go straight to the point" Mina initiate the conversation when she felt the thick awkward atmosphere engulfed them. Yuta nodded nervously.

Again, Yuta cleared his throat and gulped a big lump.  "I..I want to make my promise to you.. That I will get you back" He said in serious tone. "I got debuted and your dating ban was been lifted up" 

Mina shook her head. "Too late" Yuta frown a little. 

"What do you mean too late?" 

"I have someone now-" Yuta sigh, he don't know what to feel at the moment. "-I know we made that promise that when we got debuted together and my dating ban is over, we can have each other again." Mina breathed out.

"I know, I'm sorry. We were too young that time. And we think that we are really meant to be for each other. And thinking that we are the only in this world. Look-" She sigh, "-I'm sorry. I can't cheat. I love that person. So please, stop this."

Yuta stood up when Mina stood up too. "Do you still love me, Mina?" He asked in half-yelled tone, he don't want to make a scene. "Do you ever love me?" He asked, a tint of hope that she will say yes. 

"Yes!"

Chaeyoung and her co-worker decided to grab a coffee in Soul Cup. Since it was cold day, they wanted to be warm in some way. 

"Congrats to us, for successfully done working on Miracle for GOT7" Their team leader said, lifting her drink at the middle of them, Chaeyoung and the other followed, making a toss for each one of them.

Her co-working gave her congratulatory message since it was her first outbreak as new intern producer and composer in the team. She just shyly bowed and muttered a 'thank you'.

Then later on, she heard a familiar voice. She immediately look for the source.

And there, she saw two person talking on each other. She examine the girl first and focus listening on her voice. Though the girl was wearing maskers and cap, she quickly noticed the girl. But she don't know who's the guy.

She purposely went silent and focus on what they are talking. She didn't understand it at all since they are 3 tables away from them. And plus the noise inside the cafe, distracting Chaeyoung.

Then she heard a half-yelled tone. She immediately look at them, secretly. She heard a word 'Do you love me?'. Chaeyoung turn her head around clench clothes that she was holding and look down. 

It breaks her heart when she heard a response 'Yes'.

She stood up, abruptly making her co-worker look at her. "I-I'm going out for a while" She smile and blink multiple times. Her co-worker nodded. 

She glance at the two people and didn't mind on what they are talking about. 

She immediately went inside the building and grab her things. She made an excuse that she need to go because her pregnant mother need her. They fall on her excuses. Chaeyoung wiped her tears as she went out of the building, don't want to fall it down.

"Yes! before, but now, I don't love you anymore" Mina said. Leaving a sigh. 

Yuta forcefully smile. "I guess I'm a wrong timing" He sigh and smile immediately. "I'm sorry" Mina was all she can say. 

"But can we be friends? I mean get back to what we used to be? as friends?" Mina nodded and smile at him. "Friends is all I can offer to you Yuta" 

Mina smile and stretch her hands for a handshake. Which Yuta accepted.  "I need to go. I still have practice" Yuta nodded and the two went off the cafe and parted their ways.
