C H2. Confession

Amelia POV.
"Brendan! I love you! Accept my feelings please!!"
I looked in the mirror.
That's not gonna work on him.
"Oof." I fell on my bed.
If I don't say anything they're gonna be a girl and take him away from me...
I looked at the picture of me and him when we was little.
Our smiles and laughs before we became teenagers.
I giggled at the thoughts of us when we was little.
"Idiot."

I walked off to meet Brendan at the bridge.
"Hey!" I waved and he looked back and smiled his morning smile as usual.
"How you sleep?"
He squeezed me.
"Okay I guess." I answered.
"Did you do you're work?"
"Yes I did, wanna see?"
"Please."
I hand him my notes and homework.
He rubbed his head and yawned.
His eyes watered.
I rubbed mine and bumped into him, we both laughed and walked into the school.
"Do we have a club meeting after?"
"That's tomorrow."
"Ooh, I don't even like that club I only joined because of you." He said.
I looked away and blushed my face couldn't take it.
"Heh." He laughed.
"Flustered?"
"N-no! I just have a cold!"
"I'm kidding heh"
"Brendan, can I speak with you?"
I looked at a girl, she was tall black hair and brownish green eyes.
She was pretty.
I looked at Brendan and he seemed to notice how pretty she was.
I got sad all of a sudden.
I shook my head and looked at her, she had a sweet smile.
"Sure Hailey."
Her names Hailey! Their on first name bases!!!
They left for about 3 minutes, I couldn't take anymore so I tried to find them.
I looked in the court yard and they're they were.
"So yeah... do you accept?" She was blushing and he was too.
"N-no..." I was too late.
Half of me broke into shatters.
I left so I wouldn't hear the words I dread the most.

(Mean while)
"I'm sorry but I like someone else..."
"What? Who?"
"It's someone you know but I won't tell. I'm sorry."
"Oh..."
(Now)

He came back in the class and poked me.
"What she want?"
"Oh nothing."
Nothing huh?! Just breaking my heart!
He looked at me weird.
"Do you have to use the restroom or something?"
"No!"
....

The bell rang and everyone was cleaning up so they can leave, me and Brendan had to clean outside the school.
I was picking up and he took hold of the trash bag.
"You should jump in." I told him.
"Not if you jump in first." He smirked.
Ugh!
"PUT IT IN THE BAG!"
"Put what in the bag?!"
My heart!!
"The money!" I ran after him playfully, and I noticed the girl from this morning looking at him.
"Hey Brendan!" She smiled, he smiled back and waved.
"Hmmm..." I took a stick and hit his back.
"Ow! Why you do that for?!"
"You!"
"What!?"
I noticed i hurted him.
"UGH I'm sorry!" I patted him.
"Brendan! I'll talk to you later!" He looked back now blushing, maybe because I wacked him or just because he loves her!
I slapped his head this time.
"AHH!"
"Jeez you're like a freaking light switch!"
He rubbed his head and one eye was open looking at me.
"You're a jerk!" I yelled at him and stomped my foot.
"Hmp!" I turned away from him.
"W-what did I do this time!?" He had his hands in a confusing position.
"You know what! Talking to another girl..." I whispered.
"Huh? I didn't hear you."
He just made me madder.
"Ugh I hate your stupid face!" I walked off.
"What did I do!? And my face is not stupid!" He ran after me that's when I started running and I don't even know why!
"Amelia!!!!"
"AHHH!!!" I have no idea why I started to scream like I was actually running for my life.
"Why are you running!?!" He yelled.
"WAHAHA!" I sobbed.
"Oh my god! Just stop running!"
"N-n!" I tripped on thin air.
"H-how???" I thought to myself.

"You shouldn't have ran away from me..." he was carrying me to the nurse.
This is so embarrassing...
"H-hey! Watch you're hands!" I glared at him.
"I'm not even touching you there." He looked annoyed.
"You know I can walk!" I tried to get out of his hold.
"Fine." He dropped me.
"Ow!"
"Can you walk?"
"You're a jerk..." I sobbed again this time he saw me.
"Ugh I'm sorry here."

I was back in his hold.
I wasn't looking at him this time, I looked away from his eyes.
"Brendan.... I "
"Hmm?"
"I-..."
We stopped and I noticed where we was.
"We're here. The infirmary."
"Oh... thanks." He dropped me off at the bed.
"Um.. will you stay with me?"
"Don't feel good?"
"No... I mean yes I'm totally fine."
The nurse came in.
"What happened here?"
"She tripped." She came closer and Brendan moved out of her way.
"I see, well I can help with that."
Brendan took a seat next to me and waited till we was done. We didn't talk.
Just waited.

"Thanks for staying with me."
"No problem." He wasn't looking at me, he looked at the sun set. We walked to my house and I stopped.
"This is you're chance! Say that you like him! Hurry!" My mind told me.
"Brendan..."
He looked at me like he did at the school yard.
"I have a confession to make!"
"Okay.."
"I-I like—!!"
Say it!!!!!
"Puppies!!"
"..."
"..."
"That's cool. Heh, see ya Amelia! I have to go home, my mom will get mad. See you at school." He patted my shoulder and smiled as he walked off he waved.
I waved back and dropped my bag on the ground speechless.
"I-I BLEW IT!" I fell.
"DARN IT!!!!"
