chapter eight

Finn arrived at the Rebel Base with Han and walked out. He looked at BB-8 zooming by and noticed Poe. They ran to each other quickly. "Hey, Poe I never thought I'd see you again." 

"Is that my jacket?" 

"Huh? Oh yeah here," Finn started to take off Poe's jacket.

"no no no, keep it. It looks good on you," Poe looked him up and down before clearing his throat.

"I saw that little girl from earlier with Kylo Ren, I just don't understand why they would take such a young child," Finn said, walking alongside Poe. 

"Who knows, maybe children are easier to corrupt or teach," Poe said as they went to see General Leia.

Kylo glanced down at (Y/N) not saying much. After an uncomfortable silence, he tugged on her hand. "Where were you?"

She looked up, "I Uhm... well... I went outside... and there was a man... he told me that he was one of us... and he showed me his ship.. and... Uhm... we went to a different place... and then I got here" She looked down 

Kylo said nothing and pulled her with him to their room. "Stay in here, do NOT leave," He said and closed the door loudly, but not necessarily slammed it.  She sat on the bed and sighed looking at her lap.

He let out an angered sigh, put his mask back on, and walked to where Rey was being held.  "Where am I?" Rey said, looking at Kylo. She blinked a few times, as if adjusting to the light in the room.

"You're my guest" He replied after a bit of silence. She moved a bit, stuck in place and studied him. 

"Who was that child with you? What did you do to her?" She asked, concern barely covering her face, trying to hide any fear she has inside.

"That's none of your concern now is it?" He looks at her and slightly shakes his head. "You still want to kill me." 

"That happens when you're being hunted by a creature in a mask" She retorts quickly, glaring slightly.

Kylo stands there for a second before unlatching his mask and removing it. He places it down on a nearby table before looking back at Rey. 

"Is she your sister? How old is she?" Rey asks, studying his features,  a bit in shock at the sight of what Kylo actually looks like. She moved a bit more, trying to get out.

"It's not your concern, she's just fine. Now tell me about the droid."

(Y/N) sits on the bed with tears in her eyes as she fiddles with her thumbs. She thinks to herself ' Why did I leave? Now Kylo's mad at me. '  With a soft sigh, she laid down in bed and pulled the blankets over her. "Hmph." With that she drifted to sleep.
