The Arrangement

Lili
Dakota nudges me repeatedly. "Tell me what's wrong." Cole says. "It's nothing." I say. "If it was nothing, Dakota wouldn't have nudged you." he says softly. "My producer wants me to do an interview and I don't want to." I sigh, running my hands through my hair. "You don't have to if you don't want to." he says, taking my hands. I look at our hands and it helps calm me down. "Thank you." I whisper. "For what?" he asks. "For calming me down." I smile up at him. "It's not a problem." he replies. "I'm a mess that my mother forced on you." I say, stepping back from him. "You're not a mess." he says. "Then you obviously don't remember when we dated." I laugh. "You weren't a mess then either." he says, pulling me closer to him.

Cole
Dakota lays at our feet while we watch movies. Lili was dosing off a few times. "Maybe we should go to bed." I chuckle. "No I'm good." she mumbles. "We can watch it later." I say standing up. I pull her up and she groans. "No!" she whines. "Yes." I reply, helping her to the bedroom. She lays on the bed, and turns
away from me. "Don't you want to change?" I ask. "No. Mm too tired." she murmurs. "Come on. Your clothes aren't comfortable." I say, turning her back to me. I help her change into some pajamas and get in next to her. She turns towards me, and wraps her arm around my stomach, her head on my chest.

Lili
I woke up in bed by myself. I got up with a groan, and went to the kitchen. I saw Dylan, Cole, Cami, Kj, Chloe, Tess, mom, and mr. Sprouse. I sit at the counter and noticed the bedroom door was open. Dakota stepped out and I ran back to close him in the bedroom. "You ok Lili?" Cami asks. "Yea. I just had to put the dog up." I let out a breath. "Oh yea." Chloe says. "Yea." I say and sit next to her. "I don't need you sneezing over everything. Plus I think Cami might murder all of us if her staging was ruined." I giggle. "Exactly. It took me an entire day to decorate this house." Cami points at us. "Nobody's gonna ruin your decorating." I say. "Until you have kids." she smirks. I choke on my drink, making everyone laugh at me.

We talk a while, and then my producer calls. "I have to take this." I sigh and step out of the room.

L: yes Leo?

PL: thought anymore on the interview?

L: I'm not doing the interview.

PL: you need to do the interview. Which is why, I took the liberty of making time for you to do it.

L: you didn't.

PL: I did.

L: I'm firing you.

PL: you can't do that.

L: you're MY producer. You are fired.

I hang up before I can argue. I call my agents to get a new producer and the interview cancelled. I get back in the house and I sat back in my seat. "You ok? You were yelling out there." Cami says. "I'm fine." I say. "You sure?" Teas asks. "Yes. I'm ok. Nothing I can't handle." I reply. "You just-" Cami starts. "I said I'm fine." I cut her off.

I let Dakota out once everyone left. "What was that call about?" Cole asks. "It was nothing." I reply, taking Dakota outside. I get a call from one of my agents.

L: hello?

A: we have found you anew producer. His name is Jordan.

L: Thank you. Did you get the interview cancelled?

A: I couldn't get it cancelled. I'm so sorry Lili.

L: what time and day?

A: It's tomorrow at 3.

L: Thank you for trying. Maybe I'll just not show up.

A: ok. I'll see you later.

I hung up and sighed. Today is not my day. I take Dakota back in and go change. I flop on the couch with a huff and Dakota lays his head on my knee. "I know." I whisper. He jumps on the couch, resting his head on my lap and curls up. I watch a movie and Cole walked past the living room. "Where are you going?" I ask. "Out." he replies. I hear the door close and I finish my movie.

I make myself some dinner and eating quickly. I take a shower, and get into bed with Dakota next to me. My dream was when Cole and I were dating 5 years ago.

"Hey." I smile. "Hey." he sighs and sits next to me. "What's wrong?" I ask. "Just my father. He wants me to do one thing, but if I don't do it exactly how he wants it." he stops. "Sorry." I say quietly. "It's not your fault." he replies. "What movie are we going to watch?" I ask. "I don't care you can pick." he answers. I get up and look through the movie collection. I pick one and return to my spot. I hid behind him when a jump scare came on. "Why did you pick this movie if you're not gonna watch it?" he asks, sounding rather annoyed. "I honestly don't know." I giggle, ignoring his tone. "It's not even scary." he says madly. "Maybe you should go." I whisper, getting up. I turn the movie off. "Fine." he snaps and slams the door behind him, making me flinch.

I sat up gasping. Dakota nudges me repeatedly, but I got up and paced around the room. "It was just a dream." I whisper repeatedly. I check the time, 3am. I noticed Cole wasn't in bed. Dakota gets up and stops me from pacing. He nudged me to sit on the floor and gets on my lap. I hug him tightly as I calm down.

I got up and went to the living room to watch a movie, only to find Cole and a girl asleep on the couch. I was honestly expecting this. I mean, he did it while we were dating. I went to the kitchen and made myself some coffee. I changed into some running clothes and went for a run with Dakota.

I got back and it was 7:30. Cole was still asleep, but the girl was gone. Dakota barks, but I hush him. I go into the kitchen, and get some water. I drank half the bottle before going to take a shower.

I change into some comfy clothes, and go to the kitchen. "Hey." Cole says. "Hi." I say. I check the time and sigh. "What's wrong?" he asks. "Nothing." I reply, grabbing some toast. I go to the bathroom and take my medication. I wash my face and brush my teeth.

3:00 came a lot quicker than it should have. "Stay." I say and he sits next to the door. I get in my car and drive to the building. I park and take a deep breath before heading inside. "Hi. I'm Lili Reinhart. I have an interview." I say to the receptionist. "Ok. Just have a seat. They will be right with you." she says. I nod and take a seat.

"Lili?" I hear. I stand and follow someone to a stage. "And here she is everybody!" I hear Jimmy Fallon say. I step on the stage smiling. I take my seat next to him. "Hi Lili. How are you?" he asks. "I'm doing very well. How about you?" I smile. "I'm great. So Lili. I've heard rumors that you and a certain someone are back together." he wiggles his eyebrows at me, making me laugh. "And who might this mysterious man be?" he asks. "That would be Cole Sprouse." I smile. "Isn't he the one you dated when you were younger?" he asks. "Yes. It is." I say. "Ok. Let's play one of my games." he smirks and I cross my legs. "What game would that be?" I smirk. "Beer pong. Just a little different." he replies.

I finally get home around 7. I take Dakota out and take in some fresh air. I pot a picture on Instagram and head back inside. I head to the bedroom, only to turn around because of the noises.

L: Cami?

C: what's wrong?

L: can I stay at your place?

C: of course. Just tell me what's wrong.

L: I'll tell you when I get there.

I get Dakota and get in the car. I drive to Cami's and knock on in the door. She opens it and I fall into her arms.
